my sister I would have love to open my hair to everyone here. I stopped plaiting my hair, stopped dyeing my hair, I comb and use my scarf at my convenience. Nothing on my hair. Although my husband complained about it, but I ignored it. I will stand alone before God. Not my husband, pastor or any other Christian can make me compromise this.

Hair is not a commandment. Plaiting of hair or the other attentions given to it can be a distraction of your time with God. Read Romans chapter 14:1-23; focus on 22-23. Whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Your hair is your but if you have none are you sinning because you cover with a wig? Your specific answer should come from God. It makes sense. In my country we like to weave hair and braid our own hair. But just this moment it came to my memory that people say that when you dream of braided hair(just your own hair) that it means bondage. That is like a revelation to me now. Thank you sister for sharing.

Read your bible and understand it in context than following people’s private revelation. 1peter3 is saying that our inner man should be more beautiful than our outer look. Cultivate the inner man, but it doesn’t mean you should totally neglect the outer. When Paul said that spiritual discipline profit more than physical exercise, did Paul mean to say we should not exercise our bodies at all? No!! We should take care of the body god gave us. Plaiting your hair is not a sin. Sister Kate you keep allowing your weak conscience to enslave you and your mind keep conjuring more and more sins that are really not sins at all.. to keep you in bondage. Whaoh, God has spoken. I have seen someone who was bordered like me. How to manage my hair according to the will of God was a major concern to me. Most of the time I carried my hair just the way it was but sometimes I tried to weave it so it doesn't break. Recently, I braided with wool. But I still said to myself but God has told us in the Bible not to braid or plait our hair. I thank God some body has same conviction as me.

My hair is so long that it gets tangled and jamed in everything. Can I plait my hair at home in private?

Stopped the video at 5:23 to write this...I recently had the same encounter BUT instead of the braiding of hair, it was the gift of tongues and speaking of tongues. The teacher I thought I trusted, argued the opposite of what I knew was true because God's word is true. And he used scriptures, to prove his point, but twisted it and used it out of context. I had dreams of this man multiple times back to back. And I was upset because I have been influenced by this person for over a year and it was just revealed to me "false teachings; wolves in sheep's clothing, and knowing someone's spirit by their fruits". this actually happened last weekend and throughout the week, but I am happy I've decided to get into God's word faithfully because everything is becoming more clear whether it hurts or not. Thank you for this video, I just started the book of 1 Timothy and saw the "broided hair", and was shocked so I'm doing the research and this clears it up... now pressing play lol.

Don't use wool it's all attachments please after washing her hair try and comb it while it's still wet because if you allow it to dry before combing it will become hard apply any oil as long as it won't change the texture it's fine

Is it sin to use hairbands or pins. Because I understand not tampering with the texture but some people have been saying you can’t even use hair bands. Just have to comb it and leave it open or tied. It’s been troubling me since. At least need something to tie it back if it is to remain natural like that.

I thought about locking my hair, but the RUACH is not convincing me to do so. I keep my head covered full time now because of what the WORD say that women should cover their heads when we pray and prophesy. We are called to pray without ceasing.

As long as that product does not change the texture of your hair use it. Do it in two or three etc is the same as PLAITING or braiding your entire hair thank you

I wonder why we are put on this planet and SO MANY stumbling blocks are put on our way. I went through the comments and I saw more things added to the one discussed in the video. Someone said using deodorant/perfume is wrong, so she is not using. OK, so if using deodorant is wrong why were we created in such a way that when we sweat, the armpit smells. WHY PLEASE? Or is it that God who created us wouldn't mind us smelling. Even if He (God) wouldn't mind the smell, we human beings do mind because the smell is offensive, because even after one has adjusted one's mind to ignore or accommodate the body odour, it is simply unbearable. It is an offense that is why it is called offensive odour. OK why then were we given a nose that could detect odour, because if not, we will not perceive any odour and we will also not perceive any deodorant and will therefore not go looking for any deodorant. And saying we should not use deodorant, please why did God create fragrant flowers and plants all over the planet, even inside the forest? Someone needs to answer this question please. Because it seems God himself like fragrances but we humans should not touch fragrances. Really? And same person who said this also agreed with the content of this video that we should not plait hair. OK some of us created with kinky hair WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO? Also the video said hair should be packed with a rope. Please don't you think the rope used to pack hair has constituted an attachment and one could be thrown into hell fire for that. How do we go through all these and come out triumphant where as the huddles have been made impossible to summount? It seems I'm missing something here because I'm wondering where is the God of love, the one who is our Father. Or are people receiving dreams and revelations from fallen angels? Fallen angels who by the way are in league with Satan, therefore they are reeling out contaminated revelations and false prophecies that will constitute burdens/difficulties and stumbling blocks on our way to ensure we do not make HEAVEN. People, READ THE BIBLE DAILY, WATCH & PRAY!!!

Wonderful! This is not the Christianity apostle Paul preached. This is Religion, and Religion means bondage. The Christianity apostle Paul preached was: 1. The Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit.... 2. The anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you, but the anointing teaches you all things, and that is truth. There's no deception in that anointing. Summary is, if you have the Holy Spirit and you want to do anything like plaiting hair etc, if it is against the Lord, the Holy Spirit will impress it upon your heart that it is wrong. 1 John 2: 27 says there's no deception in that anointing, and that no body should teach you if you've received it. If someone else tries to teach you, they'll put you in bondage, and there's deception in it. This is Christianity, any other thing apart from this is deception.

@ Augustine Toku, why not hair food hair creams oils etc and body lotions and shampoo conditioners ? Back in the early 1990’s I was told to braid that’s a voice I heard not relax or lox my hair which I had locs . Some oils I can use that are not heavy like Almond oil, Aloe vera oil and vitamin E oil and I don’t have a problem on my scalp but if I use other oils I started it and I have to wash my hair so what about black soap that’s natural what about just Aloe plant or Cactus plant cassava plant yucca plant these things you squeeze out from the water add water and you use it as a shampoo is that good it’s a food natural that we eat it’s a route just asking these questions because I don’t have a problem not using the shampoo but I like to use natural things that’s from the earth and now I have alopecia and female bald pattern going on. So what’s good if you need to wash the hair just water and that’s it? Just asking a few questions is all sis. Blessings to you and your family

Yes I did be it white powder yellow powder if there is any infants all kind of powder is prohibited by our God. But the one you apply on little children, what was it for? I believe it's to prevent rashes or prickly heat right? But you as an adult what do you used it for? For beauty purpose I guess? Now I want to clarify you (1) if you apply white powder on your face for beauty purpose STOP. (2) If it's serve you in some way as medicine for a particular ailments then USE. Never please don't ever try it ok? Just wash comb if it's long look for something to pack it one and if it's still low then comb neatly and leave it just the way it is. That's what I understand from my Bible and it also says a woman's hair is her glory but should be covered during prayer or when prophesying. I believe in natural hair too but our hair is course so I oil and tie mine from time to time coz it's long and I don't want to cut it and I love the way God made it.
