You're absolutely right about the size and playing competitive games on it. I've found that anything larger than 27inch and you have to start moving your head to get a look at the whole screen, which takes much longer than just skimming your eyes.

Awesome ! They should put the RGB light in the input part instead. Make it easier to plug in the disport cable and other there. 32" is gonna be great viewing!

Any good recommendations for portrait monitors with even side to side lighting?

I'm a subscriber now. From AMD Call of Duty fix, to great detailed content like this! I'm a fan. The only knock I have to say is "Asooos instead of Asis" lol, but not a big knock ;-) We already discussed this in a different video lol. Dutch vs States and not even all state folks say Asoos ha.

What a pleasant surprise to find another review up so soon after the last one. And just as comprehensive as I've come to expect from Nada and her team.

How does this compare to your 38" LG with regards to timings, overshoot, etc.? Also, how does this compare against the M32Q? They seem almost identical, except for the lack of RGB and ANC on the M32Q.

Thanks for when mentioning the backlight bleed show the monitor at normal condition. So many reviewers will crank up the ISO on their camera to a million to show the backlight bleed. Making it look like a light house is hidden in one of the corners inside the monitor. Even tho it would be minimal in day to day use. And pointing out the reasons why we should and *shouldn't* buy a product is great. You are definitely one of the best tech reviewers in all of YT.

The detailed review in this video has made me think that this monitor is not for me. Even if the video review leads me to not wanting the product, I'd still like and appreciate the video, because it's given me an informed decision. So, even though I don't want the product, I still like this video for it's immaculate review.

I play competitive games on 32" monitor (odyssey g7) and have to say that bigger screen makes it easier to see far targets in fps games. You can always sit further from your screen to see whole screen also. So competitive wise I don't see a disadvantage for bigger screen unless it's slower.

Been looking for a 32", IPS, Fast 1440p monitor. Just not sure I'm ready to pay that much of a premium over the VA equivalent. Currently using a budget 32" VA, which is Ok for now. Guess I can wait a bit til prices come down. Hopefully as more and more of these hit the market something comes up in the $400-500 price range.

I just bought the fi32q x version with 240 hz refresh. Stupid question but my Aorus logo in front is without light and power led is very weak ! How to get this logo with light in it ? Leds in the back works fine. Menu also say power led always on but it is very dim. Saw other youtube reviews of this model and it looked the same. Firmware update or something with the osd sidekick thing ?

Can you review the FI32U 32"??

First 2 i received had backlight bleeding 3th one was perfect on the matter with one strange thing, on youtube and only on youtube it looks like it has 12 dead pixels in a row (shows only on the video, fixed place, not the comment section). They ain't dead pixels though it seems to pick up a youtube signal that should be off in fullscreen. Depending on what mode i start youtube is the location of the 12 strange pixels after i go fullscreen. They are white on black & black on white.

here is my only question, is windows 10 be able to recognize this monitor at all? 2 years ago I brought the ad27qd and win10 still not be able to recognize it under device manager

Wonder if we reached a limit with monitor development. 1440p IPS high refresh rate screen that is also color accurate? Can't really ask for much more than that. Only thing now is to wait for prices to come down, which will be inevitable like all tech.

AORUS FI27Q has awful brightness flickering issue with G-SYNC enabled. I wonder if it also transitioned to this one or they finally managed to figure out why this is happening. Although the problem still persists in the 27-inch model and tech support gives almost zero help about it. Very disappointed in it and GIGABYTE in general... =(

Despite the screen being that big I'd probably be hella distracted by that Glowing Aorus logo. Nothing wrong with a humble discrete power led on the bottom or side.

I had 3 of them, 2 had little ips glow 1 was worse.

How is the ghosting on this monitor? Currently I have a GIGABYTE G32QC 32 165Hz and it has a lot of ghosting.

It's a lot better than the G32QC, those VA panels cannot compete with these IPS ones :)

@@farishrdzn The monitor has some ghosting, but comparing side by side with the GIGABYTE G32QC, this AORUS looks way better. Color are more accurate and the flat panel on my opinion I have a better view. It would have been better if it had not ghosting at all.

I've been waiting for about a year for the Viewsonic XG320U to actually release so that I can buy it. It still hasn't released.

Is crazy to me that this and other monitors end up being as, if not more, expensive than entire pc builds sometimes. I personally use a Samsung 144 hz panel which is not crazy with all those settings but I feels it’s alright. One day I might a decent one if I happen to upgrade to 1440p (if I can afford it) otherwise I don’t really feel a niche to change panels to keep paying at 1080p. Still amazing video Nada. Grettings to Stephan

It's superb monitor and it's heavy, about 10kg, been using it about 1 month ago, but this 1 doesn't have KVM switch button at the back of the monitor, that's very bad, I don't know how to switch it back to my main PC faster, overall I'm satisfy with this monitor.

The price for it is a bit ouch. ;(

Купил я монитор AORUS FI32Q [20VM0-AFI32QBA-1EUR]. И был очень разачарован данной покупкой, у монитора такой патенциал но картинка как у мониторов за 15 000 рублей! Выставлял настройки изображения в меню Режим 1, отколибровал цвета, (изначально в мониторе сильно выражен красный цвет) заводские настройки отвратительны, но это колибруется (замечу для тех кто умеет это праильно делать). Замечу, что динамическую контрастность я не ставил и оставил на 0 - безполезная функция! Соотношение DCR-выкл.-так же безполезная функция, монитор только мерцает из за неё! Цветовая температура выставлена-Нормальная. Локальное затемнение-делает картинку контрастной, насыщенной красивой и яркой (но то что происходит с изображением это огромная проблема, в темных местах играя в Residenv Evil Village, картинка настолько становится темной что ничего не видно, а если появляется яркая локация в играх то прогружение в мониторе идет очень медленно, что очень бесит (особенна при работе в фотошоп) Так же на рабочем столе яркая область только в центре экрана а по бокам она становится тусклой и серой, с какимто непонятным градиентным переходом от светлого к темному, не яркой (как эффект бокхэ но выглядит отвратительно)! Локальное затемнение- без него нет той насыщенности и яркости и контрастности, но с эффектом Локальное затемнение - хочется разбить монитор или одеть его на голову, тому кто это сделал, при отключенном Локальном затемнение-монитор не выдает нужной яркости контрасности и насыщенности цветов (невозможно ничего сделать)! Настройки в меню часто сьиваются и на мониторе изображене становится слишком темным- это из за некооректно настроеной функции Баланс черного в меню монитора! Лечится это если зайти в меню монитора, затем зайти в баланс черного и выставит на еденицу выше уровень а потом понизть на еденицу вниз, тогда картинка становится прежней! Монитор - это прежде всего отличное изображение, ну а остольные, маркетинговые функции уже потом!!! Adaptive Sync Premium PRO-тут нет))) простой Adaptive Sync! Монитор в итоге сдал обратно в магазин!

I am consdering this one for triple monitor gaming. Especially because after 2 years it dropped down in price and triple monitor gaming you do not want 3 times 4K monitors. Even with the RTX 4080 Super I am ordering 3 times 4k is horrible. While 3 times this monitor only has 33% more pixels than a 4K monitor.

I use for many many years an TV as a monitor 49 inch and struggle for over 10 years to find a good monitor with features I want. NONE of them are having it. either to small, not the right panel, no G-sync etc. its like an illniss that in all these years there are not even 1 monitor that has the stuff I want. Sadly you didn't even show in the whole video the stuff you where talking about. Gues I have to look for another video.

You don't need HDMI 2.1 to run everything on a QHD 170Hz monitor? That would be for 4K ones.

@@TechTesters HDMI 2.1 bypasses the need for Display Stream Compression, Allows for built-in variable refresh rate on a hardware level between the components and supports higher definition at higher refreshes than hdmi 2.0. DP 1.4 does not have the VRR functionality either and anyone who invested in a last generation graphics card would be making a poor investment for a high end screen that is supposed to last up to half a decade and missing out on that key feature.

Waaay too much extra fluff added to this monitor in my opinion.

Не советую к покупке данный монитор, цена ему 25 000 потолок! Особенно из за такой функции как локальное затемнение, плеваться будете дальше чем ведите! Так же монитор краснит белый цвет, в нем есть такая функция как оценить результат, они слева показывают идеальную картинку а справа твой вариант изображения, и вот у тебя квест такой -добиться изображения слева, а сразу они не смогли сделать откалиброванную настройку цветов (AORUS-вы лохи), очень много минусов, плюсов нет в данных моделях, это касается всех моделей от AORUS!

If you have a system that can't do 4k or if you just want more frames per second, then it may just be a sweet spot for some people.
