30 Day Challenge

Adopting healthier lifestyle changes is hard. Over a short time, changes can become habits.
Why is change hard? Why do most people think that exercise needs to be painful?
This is mostly audio-- a short podcast. No need to watch... perhaps just listen. It's 4 minutes... it might help :-)

Thank You for posting this video. I'm almost 70 and signed up for a 1/2 marathon to raise money for a charity. I started training for is in January of 2021. Last week my right knee started hurting in the meniscus area. I have a MRI scheduled for tomorrow. I love running but also bike and swim laps so I'm not giving up on staying healthy. Also once my meniscus pain calms down I'll try walking 8000 steps. The marathon is in October so maybe I can just walk it.

Hello Dr!!! Iam Jose M Aguilera. Heavily appreciative for your objective points and wisdom. Back in 2011 Aquiles Tendon (No Surgery ) and Iam fine! Now, 2021 ACL's Rupture, It was a (Hit and Run) here in San Diego, CA; where, almost everybody does texting/driving...God's grace, I survived it. So far, after almost 6 months, No surgery, yet funny sometimes even "walking" there is a minuscule sensation like "giving" then goes away... My Dr suggest: "DonJoy" armor. Yet, I am skeptical. Iam 59 and may be at this time Iam thinking surgery, all depends on my P.T.. Great Clip/Advise... Gretings
