Thank you so much for watching and supporting the channel. I appreciate it immensely. 🙏😊 Pinning some commonly asked questions here: HOW LONG DOES THE TUNING FORK VIBRATION LAST? It depends how hard you strike it, but typically the audible ringing of the OTTO 128 tuning fork will last about 1 minute, or slightly longer. The palpable vibration of the OTTO 128 tuning fork will be felt for about 20-30 seconds. This causes an immediate spike in NO, which then diminishes over the course of about 50-60 seconds. If you use the tuning fork on the body for 5-10 minutes, it will stimulate a continual release of NO in the various parts of your body where contact is made, commencing a cascade of physiological reactions, which allows many people to experience deep relaxation. HOW LONG SHOULD I PRACTICE EACH OF THESE TECHNIQUES? 1. Nasal breathing should be practiced all day, as much as possible, even during physical exercise and during sleep. 2. Humming needs to be increased incrementally according to your tolerance. I always recommend starting with just 2 minutes once per day for 1-2 weeks. If that is working well, you can increase to 2 minutes twice per day for 1-2 weeks. If you want to increase more, you can try 5 minutes of humming once per day for 1-2 weeks, and then continue to increase incrementally as desired. I do know many people who hum for 10 minutes per day, but that is not necessary for everyone. It is important to experiment with your own body and observe your personal response to this practice. If you experience any pain or irritation in your throat or vocal cords, or if this practice causes you to feel a lot of tension, please hum more quietly, or lessen the total amount of time you are humming. If you feel stressed from this practice, I invite you to try another practice instead. Not every technique is right for everyone. 3. The tuning fork session is also highly individual. The points that I suggested in this video might take 5-10 minutes total. This sequence could easily be done once per day, or a few times per week. Of course, in my private practice, I have done 60-minute tuning fork sessions with clients, so this will again be a personal choice based on time availability, desired outcome, and actual results. I invite you to explore. The tuning forks are really very safe, except for pace makers, osteoporosis, weak bones, bone fractures or around metal hardware in the body. ARE THERE ANY PRECAUTIONS OR CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR TUNING FORK USE? 1. OSTEOPOROSIS & FRACTURES: Do not use the forks if you have osteoporosis, osteopenia, any other type of bone weakness, and definitely don’t use them if there is any type of fracture. On the other hand, It IS fine to use the forks on arthritic joints. In fact, the forks will very likely help diminish joint pain. 2. PACE-MAKER: Do not use the forks if you have a pace-maker. Now there is a chance that you could use the forks distally from the chest area, say on the knees or the ankles, but I feel much more comfortable categorizing a pace-maker as an absolute contraindication. It's simply not worth the risk. 3. METAL PARTS & JOINT REPLACEMENTS. Do not use the tuning fork on any metal in your body, particularly if you have hardware like screws or bolts. I’m just afraid that over time the vibration could loosen the hardware, and that will create a big problem for you. It is possible to use the tuning forks away from the hardware, but be cautious of proximity. 4. REPEATED APPLICATION: The tuning forks work best when applied only once, or maximum twice on any one spot. There is a diminishing return for using the forks on the same area again and again. But certainly, if you have a specific issue you are trying to treat, you could work on the same area two or three times in one day, just space those sessions out by a few hours. WHAT IS THAT BASE ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR TUNING FORK? It is called a crystal gem foot. It is absolutely NOT required to get the effects of the tuning fork. I do find that it makes the fork easier to hold, and it also provides a broader surface area for making contact with the body. For those of you who love crystals, this attachment might appeal as supposedly the quartz augments the effects of the vibration. However, I do not have a lot of research to support that, so please take it with a grain of salt. Also, the crystal gem foot is more expensive than the tuning fork itself, so unless you are really excited to own one, I would say it is an unnecessary investment. WHERE CAN I PURCHASE THAT TUNING FORK & CRYSTAL GEM FOOT? If you are interested in purchasing the OTTO 128 tuning fork I am using in this video (or the crystal gem foot attachment), you can find the links in the video description. IS THERE ANY RESEARCH TO BACK UP WHAT YOU ARE SAYING? Nitric Oxide is a very hot topic right now. There is substantial research about this endogenous gas. I have included some links in the video description to get you started. But also, please feel free to do a little digging on your own, as our understanding of this topic is continuing to grow and expand.

    I perform physical exercises for nitric oxide recommended by Dr. Mercola. He recommends waiting 2 hours after performing the 4 exercises until you do another set of exercises. My question is whether it’s important to wait to do the humming session after say I do the physical exercise or could I do both back to back? Can you dump too much nitric oxide at one time? Can someone overdo the nitric oxide dump and have too much?

  • @BELightTT

    @@bingm8109 what an excellent question! But also, a very specific question...one to which I don't know that I have the exact answer for. Here's what I can say about this, but you may have to dig a bit deeper on your own. 1. I saw Dr. Mercola's exercise regimen for Nitric Oxide release a few months ago, but I must say, I'm not exactly sure of the mechanism that is happening there to release nitric oxide. I would have to hear his explanation again to really understand what's going on there. Is it just the nasal breathing during moderately intense exercise that is offering the spike of nitric oxide? It's hard for me to speak on that without really understanding it. 2. You produce nasal nitric oxide all day, every day. As long as you are nasal breathing (especially with slow, deep breaths) you are taking that nasal nitric oxide deep into the lungs and reaping the many benefits. This is happening continuously, which makes me think you can't "over-dump" nitric oxide into the body. 3. Dr. Mercola's exercise is a "stressor"...a positive stressor, like any exercise. The humming is a "relaxer". Dr. Mercola's exercise will temporarily up-regulate your nervous system, and the humming will then down-regulate your nervous system. The humming (just like Dr. M's exercise) offers far more benefits than JUST nitric oxide release. The humming also helps to balance the autonomic nervous system, it can bring you more into parasympathetic mode (relaxation mode), it stimulates bone conduction, it helps clear the mind, etc. My instinct is that it would be a very nice protocol to do Dr. Mercola's exercise (which I think only takes about 3 minutes, is that correct?) followed immediately by the humming practice for maybe 2 minutes. Both technique are working to release nitric oxide in the body, but as a combo, you are also giving your nervous system a nice workout...ending in relaxation mode. The humming can act sort of like a "recovery" from your exercise routine. Those are my immediate thoughts. If this is interesting to you, I would encourage you to dig a bit deeper. I too will try to find some research on nitric oxide release and exercise physiology, but I'm not sure many papers have been written on this topic. Thanks @Bing M for the interesting and thought-provoking question.

    What an interesting video. I did not expect this to work at all. For 2 days in a row now, I have gotten up in the morning and taken my blood pressure, which was high. I then did 20 breaths, where I hummed while breathing out. I then took my blood pressure again, and it was normal. Both days, the time between measurements was 12 minutes. I am blown away.

    @bennytleilax this is such an inspiring message to receive. How terrific! I'm so happy you had this experience. Yes, your breath rate, depth, volume (in addition to its interaction with your vagus nerve) is massively influential on your blood pressure. And I'm super impressed by your openness. @Winfield Dixon thank you again for your kind words and appreciation. Yes, I have heard that as well, about the Japanese Samurai. What's interesting is that in the Oxygen Advantage (which is the main methodology I teach from), we do a Breathe Light technique where we place the index finger under our noses, and try to breathe so slowly, so quietly, so gently, that we barely feel any breath moving in and out of the body. We use our own finger as a "feather", if you will. I believe there is a tremendous amount of value to breathing in this way. Have you ever tried breathing with a feather under your nose?

    @robertreedy414 Really?! Please tell me how so. You know, many of my colleagues are holistic dentists and/or orofacial myofunctional therapists. Dentists have the capacity to see SO MUCH into a person's overall health and well-being. The mouth gives away so many clues. I think it is really imperative that dentists, oral surgeons and orthodontists team up much more with functional breathing coaches. This combo can be life-changing for our clients and patients. I'd love to hear your personal insights here...

    ...........Greetings....... ...***Greetings, Beloved of God. This message is lengthy but, it is very important. The ancient Israelite was tested by the Sabbath commandment to see if they would keep God’s law or no in Exodus 16:4- Do not be surprised if God allow man to do a similar test, enforce some type of Sabbath law to see if we will keep His law or no. ************************************************ Right now, we all do not see eye to eye, but, please hear me out.............. There is no way anyone can prove from the KJV Bible that Saturday, Sunday, etc. is the biblical seventh day Sabbaths. For, the words Saturday, Sunday, etc. do not appear in the Bible. A continuous Saturday, Sunday, etc., “man made Sabbaths” ARE NOT the true Bible Sabbaths because they are not calculated by true time. God’s true time is written in Genesis 1:14. When God commanded us to keep a seventh day Sabbath, kill the Passover on the 14th day of the first month, keep the day of atonement on the 10th day of the seventh month, etc......would He not have given us a calendar/Time to find these dates? Yes, He would have and He did, in Genesis 1:14. We are commanded to keep the days, years, etc. by the lights in heaven (the sun, moon and stars.) God did not specify which days, so, we must conclude that He meant for all of His 3 category of days to be kept by the lights in heaven. *********** The Sabbath command is one of the Ten Commandments listed in Exodus 20. It is just as important as the other nine and God commands us to keep it. Multitudes of people think and teach that we are only required to keep 9 of God’s Ten Commandments. My Friend, if we think this way, we are already deceived. ***************************************************************************************************************** ***The Sabbath is a feast. Leviticus 23:1-3 ***The moon is for seasons. Psalms 104:19 ***The lights in heaven are for seasons, etc. Genesis 1:14 ***The words “feast” and “season” comes from the same Hebrew word, MOED. ***MOED is, appointed times, appointments, feast, season, etc. The Sabbath is a MOED, an appointed time , a feast, a season, etc. Therefore, the moon, along with the other lights in heaven, are for Sabbaths. THE SABBATH IS TO BE CALCULATED BY THE TIME GOD ORDAINED IN THE BEGINNING OF CREATION NOT BY MAN’S TIME/CALENDARS. Who can prove from Genesis 1:14 that the Sabbath day is not calculated by the lights in heaven? Although many have tried, it cannot be refuted!! Take a glimpse at the dates in Genesis 7:11 and Genesis 8:4,13,14. Are these dates calculated by the Time God commanded in Genesis 1:14 or by the Gregorian time or some other man made time? ********** There are about 167 countries that keep Sunday as the seventh day and the remaining, approximately, 64 countries keep Saturday as the seventh day. If there is a “seventh day Sunday law” enforced and the remaining 64 countries change their calendars to read Sunday as the seventh day, then, the world will be keeping Sunday the seventh day as the Sabbath. Mon. Tue. Wed. Thur. Fri. Sat. Sunday Law 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7 What day will you and I then keep as the Sabbath? Already today, there are “Sunday Blue Laws” on government books. Man can change “their” time anytime and deceive the world under the leadership of Satan. We must calculate God’s Sabbath by God’s Time so The Great Deceiver can not trick us about the true Sabbath and “cause” us to worship him. “ He will think to change time and laws.” says Daniel 7:25 He only “THOUGHT” to change time when He “supposedly” had replaced God’s calendar with his calendar on earth. For he could not and has not truly change time because God’s Time sits in the heavens where no man can tamper with it! The sun, moon and stars, the lights in heaven, are God’s Time/Calendar. *********** God’s Calendar has three category of days, the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day. 2 Kings 4:18-23 & Ezekiel 46:1-3. The new moon day is the first day of the month, the beginning of months. These days never, ever, ever overlaps each other on God’s Time! ........However, this is not true on the famous Gregorian calendar. The new moon day falls anywhere and everywhere on that calendar, in a given month. For example, sometimes, the new moon day falls on a “man made Saturday Sabbath”, on a “man made Sunday Sabbath”, in the midst of the month, etc. How can it both be the first day of the month and the seventh day Sabbath? How can the first day of the month start in the midst of a month? God said in Genesis 1:14 to, let the lights in heaven be for days, etc. So, which one or ones of God’s three category of days are kept by the lights in heaven? ...The new moon day? ...The six work days? ...The Sabbath day? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Example of God’s months: 1st week... new moon day, six work days and Sabbath day 2nd, 3rd, 4th weeks....six work days and Sabbath day The next month the cycle starts over. God’s months reset. Read Luke 6:1 Man uses this same concept. For example: The 1st and 3rd Sunday in August, the 1st and 3rd Sunday in September.” “The 2nd and 4th Sabbath in April, the 2nd and 4th Sabbath in May.” Note: There is never, never, ever, ever, 5 weekly Sabbaths in any one of God’s months. This is not true on the Gregorian calendar. Sometimes, there are 5 weekly “Gregorian Sabbaths.” This is not in align with true time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I believe there is a great deception coming to get people to worship Satan through a false Calendar/Sabbath controversy. God is a God of truth. God guides people by His truth. God’s Word is truth. Truth is our shield and buckler. Truth will keep us from all deceptions, the mark of beast, etc. Christ did not suffer on the cross for us to walk in a lie and continue to cling to our traditions! He did not die for us to obey the “voice of man” above “the voice of God!” Read the stories about “King Saul” in 1 Samuel 15 and the “man of God” in 1 king 13. Let us learn a lesson from these testimonies....Obey God’s Voice! When we do and teach man’s commandments for doctrine, it is vain! It is useless! God does not honor it! There will be no reward! Again! there is a great possibility some type of “Man made Sabbath Law” could be enforced. These latter days crises seems to be pointing in that direction. If this is not true, then, we do not have to worry about it......But..... ....If it is truth then, we need to become more knowledgeable about this subject in order to make the right decision whom we will honor and serve. A Sabbath test will reveal those who believe Gods Word and those who do not. Whether there is or whether there is not a “Sabbath Test”, we still need to know the truth about God’s Time written in the Word of God so we can be obedient in all things. ***Worship Him that made heaven, earth and sea. ***Babylon is fallen! Babylon is fallen! ***Do not worship the Beast and receive his mark, whosoever does, will be eternal lost and be burnt with fire and brimstone. ****Read Revelation 13 & 14 This truth about God’s Calendar/Time and The Sabbath written in Genesis 1:14, Leviticus 23:1-3, Psalms 104:19, etc.is spreading throughout the four corners of the earth. This message enrages many who claim to be followers of Christ because they can not refute it. It seems, the people outside the church buildings are the ones eagerly accepting it and believing it. Please let us consider what is being said here and further research this important subject before it is to late. Peace and Love Friends of God

    I find it interesting that doing the sacred OM is just a form of humming. I was also thinking about humming and Hymns. If everybody at church hummed the song, instead of singing, imagine the health benefits. Maybe this is the real source of Hymns, they are hums at different vibratory patterns.

    @Mario Duddu yes, there are many breath techniques in the world. And believe it or not, each one elicits a very specific physiological effect. In regards to the Wim Hof Method and nitric oxide speicifically, yes, I would say that during the long breath hold, nitric oxide has an opportunity to build up in the nasal cavity, so that when you finally take your inhale, that nitric oxide gets taken deep into the lungs. • @BELightTT

    @BELightTT

    3 жыл бұрын

    @KD Marrison yes, singing can have a very similar effect. The magic of singing is that it automatically regulates your breath (often slowing it down), extends the exhale (which elicits more of a relaxation response), and allows a little build up of CO2 (which helps to lower blood pressure). And in a group, it's the best, because you have a combination of the internal vibration (of your own voice) with the external vibration (created by all the voices surrounding you). I believe this is why every religion in the world includes some type of group singing/chanting practice. Very powerful. Thank you for watching and for tying it out. Glad it had a beneficial effect. 🙏
