I had a job were there was this guy being creepy and inappropriate with the female coworkers. So I started hitting on him, making the same inappropriate remarks at him that he was saying about the female coworkers. I am 6'5" and about 300lbs. and male. He hated this, I was the security guy for the job. He knew that I knew what he was doing, and I just loved his face every time I "complimented" his figure like he complimented the others. Making "complimentary" remarks about his chest and rear never failed to make him red in the face. I was like about 22 at the time and thought this was the funniest thing. He stopped talking to the others that way, so I stopped. He would never look me in the face. I am straight by the way, and I had a kid at that time. I am still proud of what I did, even if now it would get me fired.

Thank you for your channel I love your stories! I don’t have any crazy coworker stories, but I remember an inappropriate thing that happened to my friend at work back in the early 90s. We worked in an army office as civilians. As we were going into the cafeteria, some guy who looked about 50 and was some kind of officer, although what rank I didn’t know, approached my friend. She was about 25 and very pretty. He grabbed her arm, said “hello beautiful!” and kissed her on the cheek! I couldn’t believe it. She looks stunned when it happened. This dude was a total stranger. We had never seen him before in our lives! I mean, who does that? Today he would’ve probably been reprimanded. We should’ve reported it but we didn’t think about that at the time.

23:24 story 3 about Jeremy really breaks my heart more than creeping me out. Jeremy seems misunderstood and probably bullied in the past. I have 4 autistic kids, 3 of which are adults and one teenager. I know what it's like to have kids that are so brilliant but incredibly socially awkward. I've seen them get bullied. As for the sculptures, I personally love creepy and strange art. I think judging someone by all the things that the poster was going by is just wrong. That being said, I completely understand the fear from that conversation. Reporting in was the only thing to do. I pray Jeremy has gotten help.

I worked in a jail as a nurse. I was never mean spirited to the inmates but I wasn’t there to make friends with them either. There was an inmate who was always trying to chit chat with the nurses as we passed out meds on the “yellow” tier. I never engaged him in conversation but there was a nurse, Theresa, who did. I went to work one day and my boss told me that Theresa had been fired. I was a little shocked at the news and asked my boss what happened. My boss said that the chit chatty inmate had bought a small bag of potato chips off of commissary. He had hidden the chips in his underwear and when Theresa was giving him his meds he very quickly handed them to her AND SHE TOOK THEM!!! Rule one of working in a jail is you never give an inmate anything unless the CO clears it and you never, ever, ever accept anything from an inmate. I always wondered why she did that especially knowing there were cameras everywhere that we nurses went.

A lot of jerks and weirdos but not real story level creeps here either. This was time before bitcoin miners, but in one company we were bought out by a big corporation that installed their standard remote managed security software suite on all of our PCs (before that everybody had full unresricted access to their computers and no company installed virus scanners). Turns out that in the first virus scan by that security suite, the lead software architect's computer was infested wih several viruses and malware. Since he was pretty much one of the two set of "brains" behind the product, they couldn't really fire him. I think they just forced him to swap out his machine to one of the ones governed by the big company sooner than the rest of us had to.

That actually brought back a memory from when I worked in InfoSec- We had a ping that one of our systems was connecting to a server in Russia, which our system never should be doing (hence the notification). After doing some digging, my coworker found out that it was the Chief Technology Officer's system, he'd clicked a link that he shouldn't have and it installed something on his system. We had standardized installs for all system, all users were supposed to have AV on their system at all times, and when Jim did his investigation for what happened, he found out that the CTO DID NOT have AV on his system. He didn't have it because he claimed it "slowed his computer down too much", and he basically yelled at the support desk to remove it or they were fired, so the kid just did what he was being told. After this the Chief Security Officer and CEO basically sat the CTO down and told him that he wasn't allowed to do that. Thankfully they were able to set him straight, but it was such a mess that COULD have been a big deal. That company did IT for the Government, hosting, servers, payments, everything... There was a non-zero chance that, whoever got the malware on that system, could have dug in deep and caused some real problems.

Nice surprise. When I went to work at my last job in 2005, there was a guy who worked in the warehouse and he would come up and always make inappropriate remarks. I was so pissed but I was new. After a while it stopped so someone must have complained about. Well, I ended up working in warehouse bill so I worked with him. We both lost our jobs at the same time because the closed the warehouse. We still text each other because we watched The Walking Dead over texts. LOL He told me about a year ago that he had a dream about me, I asked if I was rich and he said no but it was a GOOD dream anyway. Don't know what he meant but now I only text him at holidays. LOL Oh, he is my age but married with grand kids.
