I did a lot of cleaning today too and finally put away the last of my Christmas stuff 😅 a few years back there was a full grown man talking to my son on the internet, hitting on him and telling him he wants to take him out to dinner. I was able to track down his name and city and state he lives in. I then turned him into the cyber crimes unit of the center for missing and exploited children. I recently found out he had been arrested but I don’t know the details of what he’d done. I enjoy the internet but I do miss the 80s and early 90s before it was a thing. Life was so much more simple.

You definitely did the right thing reporting him- I'd guess that your reporting him probably helped.

This is exactly why KZread comments are basically the beginning and end of my so called "internet footprint." No Facebook. No Twitter. No....whatever else. Don't need it. Don't care. More power to those that enjoy it but....yeah, not for me..

I have an interesting story about a creep that wasn't on the Web- I got a random text from an unknown number, told them it was the wrong number after they told me their first name. After that, dude started sending creepy, and highly inappropriate text messages. So I went and did a reverse lookup on his number, found him on Facebook, and sent screenshots of the texts to his mother (who he conveniently had in his family section). He then stopped texting me.

@AsTheRavenDreams The closest I got was emailing an exgf and she went nuts. My wife was the one that found the messages, it was when I was in shipping. So the wife tells me about emails, laughing, she had no fear of me leaving I guess. The wife emailed the ex, I don't know what was said, but never heard from her again.

Raven, another awesome video! Thank you.. I met my husband online. We’ve been happily married for almost 23 yrs. But seeing and hearing about the horror stories now, I realize how lucky I truly am!!!
