I really like that glitch in the matrix stories have become prevalent enough on this channel to warrant different subsections. These parallel universe and time slip stories were awesome! I recently worked up the boldness to comment regularly, stand up to a bully, and cosplay at a gaming convention! Maybe one day I’ll work up the boldness to send in a story! Thank you, Raven!

i was thinking the same thing, that glitches in the matrix now have their own categories because there are actually different kinds of occurrences- time slips, parallel timelines, duplicating objects, this not that (where someone goes back to something that has completely changed into something else), doppelgängers, generally impossible things, and a few more. it’s crazy, because these stories are not rare and they read like creepypastas but they’re just regular people sharing events in their lives also mega proud of you for gathering courage to do all of those things. even one of those things is awesome to accomplish, being able to step out of your comfort zone like that x3 is no small feat. congrats!! i hope you have a lot of fun at future cons

These stories were amazing Raven. As a side note; this isn't my original reality either. Over the years I've slipped into many different realities each getting more intense than the previous one. By extreme I mean certain aspects are dialed up more. The best example I can think of is in this reality people, such as my family, who are religious are WAY more fanatical. People, like my father, who tend to be homophobic are way more... vehement with their hatred. Which is pretty darn awkward since I'm bisexual but thats not the point. But the thing that was my first sign that something was different was that in 1991 when I was in first grade Nelson Mandela, still labeled as a terrorist by most of the developed Western world, died in prison of pneumonia. I remember my teacher (a fairly young woman whom had just started her first position) was distraught and cried in front of my whole class. So... there's that for ya. 😅

He was reported dead. It wasn't corrected until the next day. The USA media tries to say they didn't report that, but they definitely did. I saw it. I'm also pretty sure that was in the 80's so your timeline is different from mine and this one. I've slipped through more holes in the matrix than I can count also.

Interesting comment, I thought that too, but you explain it eloquently! However it disregards that these parallel universe incidents *are sometimes true; and that the storyteller seems to have thought of that also, yet believed the other one resonated with more of what he experienced. The story of gaining 2 hours and a crazy storm... my rationalization for it would be that you missed the one the first time, i.e. it was 1230 but you saw 230 then woke again at 1238 and you only thought you gained 2 hours. That said, if we assume time travel is possible both directions are possible. So you could move backward and gain time, or forward and lose it. I do believe in the theoretical possibility of time "travel", But I cannot in any way provide the slightest evidence it has ever happened to any one or anything "yet". I have a hard time "really believing" in anything that has no outside evidence, though if I experienced something similar it makes it easier. I'm not saying anyone is lying just that I'm not sure I believe that it happened the way they remember. It is their truth, but is it "reality" ... assuming there is an objective reality... but that is a different rabbit hole for a different day.

Not sure about the dream ones being considered somehow different from how many people will experience dreams like that. Lucid dreaming is thing. I do it sometimes and it's wild, but the dream either shifts with me not being lucid,or i wake up. But having nearly every single one of my dreams be in the same places and same themes really makes me wonder. I am a highly creative and non-stop thinking aspie. So some themes reflect past and present obsessions. There are the usual anxiety dreams, and the unable to read things or use a phone or computer.

story 6. that was my wife. it was weird that she said that about it being a fire. we recently had a house fire a couple days ago, i had to run upstairs and wake her. everythings fine now, the fire did little damage, but it was a scare for sure.

Please more of these I love your regular glitch in The Matrix ones but these specific type are probably my favorite

Story 4 that I can related but what happened to me is the opposite. One time during my high school days I was very tired one night and prepared myself to sleep. i was really excited to go to bed so when I laid down and tried to reposition my sleep, i turned around from facing left to my right and somehow the time jumped!! as soon as my body flipped to right suddenly it's the morning and i felt really bad because i didn't get the chance to sleep at all and I still was very tired. my siblings woke up and preparing for breakfast. I couldn't believed it. I was so exhausted the whole day. it's the craziest time glitch I ever experienced.

The first story here with the person in the car, it isn't that rare that people turn their lives around after thinking they have had a brush with death, the person is just living their life and being thankful, the fact that it seems to have changed with a better job and attention from women, that tends to happen when you get off the drink, perhaps they have more confidence, I wouldn't say parallel life, and as for the bulk of the "am I in a different reality or dreaming", dreams can sometimes be very vivid, so I wouldn't say parallel life, the person going back in time during the storm, again time seems to go different speeds when we are sleeping, this person probably got mixed up with time, when it comes to sleep, no person can be 100% accurate with what happens to them, good stories with very simple explanations.

I have been tossing this idea around in my head. There's no way to be certain though. I may have died recently. I wrecked my motorcycle going at least 60. I hit the curb of a median, and woke up unscathed. I have been in lucky situations before that scared me, but what worries me about the motorcycle incident. It didn't scare me.

Story two.. Where was the bride ir bridegroom at the time of that crash..... Were they or were they meant to be on that road....... If so that may be why the shift. She or he or both shifted.....if everyone but them remember the thurday date its them. Or you guys did leave for the venue...... But early and you were the ones on the road.... If you are the only ones remembering the thursday date it was you guys that shifted

I suspect that the accident before the wedding involved the Bride and there was divine intervention.

The second time slip is probably due to tired eyes misreading the clock the first time. Perhaps looked at the phone first. But it’s interesting.

I've felt like I astral projected to other dimensions in dreams and seen places I somehow knew. There's one place in the foothills somewhere with trails branching in every direction. I know where they all go though I don't have anywhere on the waking side like that. I always feel so good in these dreams like I'm home or going home. I've seen the ghost of my latest dead cat appear on a table next to my bed staring at me. He died sick skinny and blind but now he's healthy chubby and bright eyed. I wasn't even quite asleep when I saw this and it gave me a fright. Like he was saying goodbye. His name was Omen, and it fits.

Kinda corny but something I just thought up recently. So, what do you call a telegram from a parallel universe? A parallelogram.

I dont believe in the mandela effects that are popular online. I do however believe in some science that could explain both mandela and glitches being legit. Same thing would cause. However there are two unexplainable things for me that break my brain. They are more like permanent glitches, similar to mandelas. The two things are Jared from Subway was arrested many years before he was. I very much remember watching it on TV. When and where I was. The documentary was when I found out they say it was recent. The other is the age group "millenial" I have specific memory of looking up these groups and there were 2 between x and millenial for years. I've been telling ppl for years I'm not a millenial (I look much younger than my age) and now suddenly last year I am and nobody remembers the change or other groups.

I believe time slips do happen although there's no way (yet) to explain them. Something that's become a little annoying in YT videos is people using the archaic word 'anyways'. Why the need to pluralize anyway? There is no plural to the word. Whether good or bad on my part, I find using the plural form to be silly if not downright dumb, to be blunt. Credibility by the user goes whoosh, out the window. So, WTF is up with SO many people using a basically non word? Thinking about subscribing but first need to watch more than this first one. And yes, I'll get over the weird word 'anyways'.
