    To me, it was more touching and heartwarming than scary. Now, I wish there was a separate channel. "Heartwarming Stranger stories." Sure, not as exciting, and it that kind of ending wouldn't be a surprise, but every once in awhile, we need it. And Joel's voice would be great for that.

    To the girl in the last story, he had minimal expenses and he truly cared about you which is why I doubt he gave you blood money and also the cops would have checked the numbers on it to make sure it wasn’t stolen. Honor his memory by using the money to better yourself! Best wishes to you!

    For the last story, the man who gave the narrator money for paying back her parents and college, he truly is a gem. Despite his history he gave such good advice such as life is to short, and despite both the waitress and man not knowing each other for very long, to recognize someone’s potential and to be kind and to go far as to help them with their dreams despite barley knowing them is incredibly rare and is a testament of his heart and character. Even if the money possibly came from a bad place (which is speculation) he saw something in her and he wanted her to flourish and thrive, and be able to do something that he couldn’t due to age and which he was in no way obligated to do and he wouldn’t have gained anything from such a gesture. Wherever he is I hope he rests in peace and is in a place where he can be happy and free. And to the poster I think you should use the money, I know it may be scary and you are more than valid to take your time in that process. But that money was left for you and only for you, and if it were to be money from a bad place or that could harm you the cops would’ve opened the envelope and tracked to money to make sure it’s safe before giving it to you. And if it was unsafe they would not have given it to you so there’s no worry on that end. Wishing you the best in your journey to becoming a nurse, I believe in you and you can do it! You’ll kick ass! ❤best wishes 💕

  • @Deliveredfromevil
    @Deliveredfromevil Жыл бұрын

    That last one was heartwarming. ❤ By the Police Officer giving you the envelope I’m sure it’s fine. If LE even THOUGHT the cash was from crimes they keep it for sure. Take that money, do what you gotta do!!! And get back to school dear, that’s a great choice & I’m sure John would be happy for you.

You never disappoint, you and Lazy Masquerade got me through hard times in my life, and once he stopped making reddit videos, you and your channel saw me through some of the best times as well. First story reminds me of kindergarten, my bestfriend was very sweet and trusting and I loved her for it. She ended up talking to a strange man at the fence on recess and I pulled her away after having my parents always drilling it into my head to never trust anyone. The teacher chased him away but after school like clockwork he wad there waiting for us. I freaked out and went to get a teacher while she wanted to stay and chat. Luckily we got rid of him before anything could happen. This was in the 80s and we didn't have school security it was just kids looking after eachother sadly but we did.

    Last op. Definitely use the money. Follow your dreams, man. That money was a blessing. You definitely should take it as a good sign from God and just go for it. More than likely the cops would have investigated the envelope. Doubt they're going after you. Don't give up man~ Keep on going as a thank you to that man.

    Guy in the 2nd story is a total prick. He's being insanely over dramatic. Not to mention I'm anti social myself and hate small talk especially with strangers, but to act like the guy was attacking you when he was most likely more than anything trying to awkwardly introduce himself as your neighbor. Some people simply like getting to know people in their neighborhood. It's not that strange or uncommon of a behavior. I get being annoyed and mildly creeped out but there's a WAAY better way of walking away from that without unapologetically threatening the guy and automatically thinking he's trying to hunt you down for something as little as that. Guy is talking like his life is an action movie

I think I’ve had attempted snatching at least 7 times. I need to submit some stories soon. Still, that poor naive kid. Tragic. Not understanding the vitriol from OP in story 2. Sounds like you had a neighbor that just wanted to befriend you, and you had a freak out episode in return. He probably was taken aback and had no clue how to react to your meltdown. I'm pretty anti-social myself, but I know about my neighbors, so I would not think much if they knew about me in return. He could have easily talked to another neighbor and got your name and where you live from them.

    Hi LR! That last story pissed me off! People can't receive a blessing. Didn't the writer say all he did was go to work, church and the greasy spoon she worked at? Because he was HONEST about his life, motivated her...the first things she thought of was he may have robbed a bank or the cops set her up after he DIED? What a NARCISSISTIC mindset. Tell you what...she can CASH APP me if SHE doesn't know what to do with TEN STACKS. She is more paranoid than him and he served prison time for keeping his mouth shut. If I had to pick a friend, it would be the ex-con. She should not go into nursing. That mind set should not be dealing with the health of patients. I will take raw truth over pretty B.S. ANYDAY! I WILL take that cash app though, since she doesn't know what to do with that money...🤬🧐

    yeah, just tell him to listen to his gut, ALWAYS.there are a lot of people who think the world is all evil and way over do it, you just have to find the middle. My opinion is 85-90 out of 100 people in this world are good people who wouldn't do you harm, you just have to be on the look out for those 10-15 people, but you can't live life believing those numbers are reversed. an example I was watching reddit videos or KZread shorts and a lady told this story (not verbatim) "I was at the mall in the parking lot after shooing in the early afternoon when a man in his mid 20s (she looked in her early 30s) was approaching me and when he was 10-15 yards away he said "excuse me miss" so I responded "Do NoT ApPrOaCh Me, Get AwAy FrOm Me!" over and over as loud as I could and got into my car and sped out of the parking lot. A man should never approach a woman ever, bra bra bra Im a stupid Karen" Like it was in the middle of the day, I could almost see if it was midnight and no one else was around in the middle of nowhere and the guy was like twice her size, then ok she would be in the right. But what if his dad was having a heart attack and his phone was dead and he wanted her to call 911, or his car was dead and he just needed a jump, or maybe her own car tire was low on air and he just wanted to warn her. he way over reacted and her comment on how "no man should ever approach a woman" like WTF. she's defiantly the type to believe 95% of the world is would to rape then rob them murder you everyday. don't be this person your life will be vanilla af

    When I did my practical training at a home for the aged, to become a carer, there was a lady in palative care. I sat with her every minute I got, even during my lunch break, because I didn't want her to pass alone. I didn't get my certificate, because I couldn't afford to pay the last fees. I went to work in a clothing store. 1day a lady came up to me and asked me what I was doing there, and told me that I don't belong there, I was so shocked the way she went on. I was about to go back at her when she opened her bag wrote her number down and told me to use her as a reference to get work as a carer, as I just had to work as a carer. I got a job as a carer without paperwork, because when they called her she gave me a glowing reference. It changed the track of my life. I will never forget her. Turns out she was the daughter of the lady I sat with. 1 of my favorite strangers. I never saw her again, but I will be forever grateful. I wish I can just thank her 1 last time.

    Im always amazed how our minds all work differently. When John said his old life caught up w him, I though about how perhaps those drigs he did earlier in his life may have contributed to a heart attack. Not for a minute did I think it was stolen. Sometimes regular people are disgusted as angels and/or demons in the flesh.

    Happy belated birthday! 🎈 🎂 Story#1 Sorry about what happened to Martina, glad she was saved from being kidnapped. I am glad the offender got caught. Story #6 I hope the young boy who was abused eventually found his family and got the help he needed. I couldn't help but say 'Good' when I heard the older man that abused him and other young men and boys had died. Story #7 Note with the money given was really touching. If it's John's dying wish, do as he says and use the money. Perhaps you could even save it in precious metals or invest it if you have any left over.

    The guy in story #2.....it's always better 2 trust ur instincts. It may have been nothing but u never can really tell. U felt like u were in danger, u reacted & nothing really turned out 2 be all that bad. On the other hand, if u didn't tell the guy off & assumed he was OK & turned out not 2 be.....u would've been having big regrets wishing that u DIDN'T ignore ur instincts. It's ALWAYS better 2 be safe instead of sorry.

    Love the channel and thanks! I never want so belittle anyone or the bad /scary things that they’ve been through….however……STORY 2…. I live in a pretty big city and in my area of the city I am aware of a number of people, seen them coming or going at some point and, yes, through some reason or another, even know the odd name.ok so I might not say the name and how I’ve stumbled across the information of where they live during small talk but the person who was the “victim “ may have unwittingly seen this guy a dozen times just never noticed..a friend of a friend from years ago…. A cousin of your brother in law…hypothetically. A thousand possibilities…but going crazy, running home to throw up,months to “get over it” .. I think, this is just my opinion might I add….I think get both hands and squeeze tighter than you have ever squeezed…. Basically get a grip!! Haha

    Depends if she was found competent and if a judge would accept different types of testimony. Judges can use testimony from therapists and GALs appointed to cases where oral testimony would traumatize a child witness. Her dad probably "took care of it" by hiring an attorney and contacting law enenforcement who could charge the guy and represent the family without Martina being subjected to any sort of trial appearance. I'm guessing she had therapy for this and those records were subpoenaed along with other evidence.

    Regarding story 2, maybe the guy who joined you had a rough day and just wanted to walk and was seeking some friendly banter, I don't mean to be judgemental, but if someone was that hostile to me and cursed me out, I would also stare at them like a lunatic. You might have been a tad dramatic and hostile towards him. But hey you never know...

    I’ve struck up random conversations with strangers while out walking. It’s usually obvious if another person isn’t up for chatting, but maybe the stranger just doesn’t pick up on social cues.
