Thank you so much for this tutorial! I just tried it and I loved it! I stopped at the 3rd step because my hair ended up exactly where I wanted it. I love my hair! I hate going to a salon because, for some reason, I always have bad luck where they mess up my hair or cut it way shorter and I love my hair long. I will cut my own hair using this tutorial from now on! I even shared it with my sisters! I was always afraid to cut my own hair but you made this tutorial so easy; literally anyone can follow this video. Thank you so much!

Tried this tonight! I've been a hairdresser since 2010 and I think this was a great tutorial on how to get lovely layers! My only issue (for myself) is I hate any disconnect of layers between the base and the starting longest layer whichbi got from this cut but it wasn't a big deal because i wanted it shorter anyways. I just recut the base length by pulling the hair evenly onto both sides and trimmed at a slight angle the base length then reworked the face framing angles. Great cut! Can't wait to see mine styled and dry tomorrow!

I have learnt to cut my own hair during this lockdown and now I'm so pleased with cutting them on my own that I've stopped going to the parlour for one 😄 Thank you ma'am.

I did my haircut this way and outcome is appreciable 👌the weather is so hot and humid this helped a lot. I just used trimmer instead of scissors and it was much easier.

This is perfect to make wigs look more expensive and natural! It removes weight like normal cutting, but you get more movement and detail while keeping the length. For sure the easiest salon quality layering method. Thank you so much!

Hey Priya! I tried this hairstyle and it came out stunningly beautiful. This haircut added volume to my wavy hair. It has created a flow and texture in the hair. A point I would like to add is don't expect layer as soon as you cut your hair. Apply a bit of serum and tie it in a bun. Open it after 15 mins and there you go!!

The bestest haircut video I have ever seen and tried in my lifetime I swear. This was something I was always searching from and I did it by myself and the way it has turned out everyone is complementing on my hair since then. Thank you so much for posting this as I followed your directions and I am so happy with the result! Your hair is simply stunning by the way! But your video is so simple to follow and the results look like my hair has been cut in a salon!

I've been doing this for years and saved a lot of money! This works and should be given a try. Just start off easy and take off a little at a time. Don't try to lop off a huge blob and expect it to look like her hair. She has been repeatedly cutting in layers for a while --so she has a great base to work with. If you are starting with 1 length hair, it will look like you are taking off a lot because you are cutting in your first layers. I do this at least 1x a month to take off dry ends and keep it fresh.

First off, THANK YOU PRIYA!!! Your video helped me take a chance and cut my own layers for the first time and my hair came out so GOOD!!! My boyfriend also really loves it lol! I cut my hair while dry and straight then washed and dried it with a round brush and it’s just amazing lol! I’ve worked in a Spa with a five star salon and have gone to many salons of various status’ and only one out of them all could cut my hair how I wanted, then she retired immediately...so THIS video made it easy and I also cut more off because my hair was already down to my behind hahaha! I am confident to put more layers next time and trim my hair with no fear! Thank you again and seriously, if you’re scared to try this ...I get it, but it’s easy to press pause and re watch parts of the video if need be for extra accuracy:) I played music and made sure I had no time constraints...I’m so HAPPY!

This is HANDS DOWN my favorite hair cutting tutorial EVER. I haven't paid for a hair cut since watching it 😍 I even cut my 2 daughters' hair using this technique and we are ALWAYS complemented on our cuts! You can make the layers as long or as short as you want... You can add more layers by sectioning off smaller pieces, and her final step for adding volume is my FAVORITE step!! 😍😍😍 I cannot praise this woman enough!! 🙌 Try It! It really IS that easy!!
