This is my absolute favorite haircut and I have asked over and over again and have never ended up with this cut. The best I've gotten was big chopped "line" layers. Yes, that was the best. The worst? Started with hair that touched my back pockets and ended up with hair that barely touched my shoulders. I will have to try cutting it myself after seeing this. You've done an EXCELLENT job explaining it. Thank you

That is why i ve started cutting mine too. After get tired of salons doing what they want and trying to charge me so much i said,....no way Ill put up with this. Tks much very nice and worked

I had a terrible hair cut this morning (felt like I paid someone to play with my hair) and started looking at DIY haircuts with layers on YT. I just tried this and it definitely works! It gave me the layers I wanted and I’m not crying about my bad cut anymore 🤣 Thank you!!

I can totally relate, I had a bad hair cut about 10 days ago, I wish I could fix it but because she used shears (without asking me first)there isn’t much I can do as she removed approximately 30% of my hair 😥 all I can do is wait until it grows. One thing I know for sure, I will never go back to a hair salon, this terrible experience motivated me to learn to cut my own hair. So been watching lots of videos.

Holy cow! I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I am that heaven made an angel like you. How ever you ended up finding this trick, thank you! I am so tired of spending $300 at the salon I finally bleached my hair and it came out fabulous. However, after one touch-up my hair went on strike. If McDonald’s had a happy place for Dead ends it was surely on my head of hair! You are beyond genius, thank you thank you thank you, for helping me keep a hard earned $100 in my pocket book. And one heck of professional layered haircut, that allowed me to keep my length 👍💕😳😁

So I watched this video and I tried this method yesterday. My hair is very long almost to my waist and I did everything exactly as instructed and it turned out perfect! I did not shorten my bangs but everything else fell in perfect long layers. Thanks a million for this video!

Omg! Wow! You did an excellent job of explaining and demonstration. This style is Soo beautiful an looks great on you. I'm wanting also to do the same as you. Keep some length but lose the dead ends. Never given myself layers br bcuz it was Soo difficult for me to judge placements and follow along with any videos. I've seen these hair tie hair cut videos br but, never thought they really worked. I'm very impressed. I'm also happy bcuz I don't let anyone touch my hair. I cut and dye an style my own. Thank you Soo much and God bless!

EXCELLENT method...Ur hair is naturally GORGEOUS!! My ONLY little " TURN OFF" Sweetie...is that the background music is too loud @ fast. While your own voice can get lost. Maybe something more 🎶🎼Laid Back or mellow?. Thank You Pretty Girl..💜.

Just back here to update..... I have always been really reluctant to do anything to my hair but the ends were looking terrible and I needed to do something - I've just finished doing my "at home" trim and I'm really pleased with the results. It will keep the split ends at bay until I can get to a salon. Tip: When you cut, cut upwards towards the ceiling, so scissors pointing at 12 o'clock and cut into the hair. It gives a more blended look instead of a sharp blunt. Thank you so much for the tutorial! I feel SO much better now I've done my hair.

I wanted to tell you that I have been following your video for my last four cuts and it has made my hair look beautiful! I get compliments all the time! I have wavy hair so I blow dry and then add loose waves with my curling iron, but I could leave straight after drying if my hair was in better condition (I’m 72 and color my hair) The Cut before this last one I decided I would skip the third step (bang section) and it just didn’t look quite as good as it had, so yesterday I did the third section cut…very long…and now it looks great! So everyone, listen to everything she says and follow everything she does! I have never gotten a cut in a salon that I loved as much! Thanks so much for this video!

I'm going to try this with shorter hair. My hair is just about 2 in below my shoulders. I did the one rubber band version and took off 2 in last week but it needs layers. Now. I know how to do it! BTW, you are beautiful and your hair is too!
