3 Common Training Mistakes 90% of Men Make
Спорт
Going over the 3 most common mistakes I see men do in their training.
There is a lot of unspoken social pressure on men in terms of what types of training are normal and which are not.
Because of that social pressure, most men don't get to work on specific areas of their body and styles of moving their body.
Avoiding whole aspects of your body's abilities creates problems, serious ones.
There obviously are more, but I chose to look at the 3 I've seen the most over the years:
1. Not working on hips mobility
2. Not working on upper back mobility
3. Not resting enough
I can talk about each of these topics for hours, but the gist of it is that you NEED to move your hips and upper back more, both to be able to move better and to AVOID serious problems like headaches, dizziness etc...
Developing as a person means finding balance between opposite forces, sometimes it's physical - like working on certain areas for mobility, and sometimes it's more mental and emotional, like taking time off to recharge yourself and reduce tension.

Ayeee, happy to hear!
This is very cool and informative. I have issues with all three aspects. Being into Yoga and going to the back bridge, I noticed lach of upper back mobility. Hip opening is well a must… And I am forced to rest enough, because I have Lyme in my body. I go beyond my borders and Boom - the bugs creep up-. What I am trying to accomplish is to merge my Yoga, Qi Gong, calisthenics and movement to a holistic approach…. In such a huge challenge I would like to be part of this nice community here. Aloha from Germany

Thanks!
I'm very curious to have your insights on things like shaking to release excess tension and stuff like the one legged posture. Great content!

I love the shaking release technique, what's the one legged posture?
Honestly, couldn't agree more. The last years I took into Yoga, pilates, and some gymnastics prep work, active compression included. These were socially defined as "Feminine", which is ridiculous. Being proud of a body prone to injury, doesn't make sense.

Truth! Glad you agree man
great video. Do you do any type of weight squat? If so, what is your goal weight wise? 2x your body weight? I saw Ido do barbell squats before I was wondering if you incorporate this into your practice

Used to b4 covid, my goal was around 1.5-2x my bodyweight, might come back to it
Iv never heard of the upper back mobility problem before. Is it a training issue or how one holds thier posture at rest?

It's both a training issue and a genetic issue, but most people's origin of the problem is training related I would say.
Progressive Overload: good for the muscles; bad for mental health.
