25 Minute Self Care Yoga + Savasana | Relaxing Seated Stretches For Stress & Tension Relief

Unroll your mat with me for 25 minutes of self-care with a slow flow yoga practice with savasana. This class includes simple seated stretches to help you release stress, anxiety and physical tension.
We begin in seated rabbit pose for our first stretch, taking a moment to ground ourselves and settle into the natural flow of breath. A counterpose comes next to open up through the chest and shoulders.
Warm-up the spine in all directions with seated cat/cows, twists and lateral side bends. The hips and hamstrings will also get a gentle stretch so the full body feels open and relaxed for a nice long savasana at the end.

this was sooooo healing. i’ve been spending the last couple of days snuggling in the warmth of my bed while it pours rain outside. and while it’s been nice, i definitely can feel the fatigue the gloomy weather has been taking on me. just before this practice, my body and head were feeling heavy. and boy did this help bring some blood flow and breath back into my day ❤

I recently fractured my upper right arm. I really appreciated this class, as I could still modify certain poses but still get a sense I was doing some yoga and stretching.
