The prize is a Menu H Australian Defence Force Combat Ration One Man that was packed in March 2023. The main meals in this ration pack are Moroccan Lamb and Spaghetti Bolognaise.
All valid entries will be entered into randomgenerator.com which will randomly select the winner and this will be done by 8:00 am on Saturday 22 July 2023. The winner will be announced on the community page of this KZread channel on the same day.

I may not be able to send to other countries if that list changes between now and when the winner is drawn.
ADF ration packs cannot be bought or sold. I have not purchased this item, nor will I ever sell a ration pack, and if you are the winner you are requested not to sell it.
Another winner will be drawn if the winner does not contact me within 30 days to provide their address, or if any of the above terms are not complied with. If another winner is drawn this will be announced on the community page of this channel.

Honestly as a US resident I can’t possibly pick a favorite component. An Australian ration is an extreme rarity in the states. None the less a treat to anyone that can get their hands on one! Best of luck everyone and cheers to whoever gets this golden goose👍

I was in Army cadets as a kid and always enjoyed most things in the ration packs ...sitting under a hotchie in the bush with my mates , heating up braised steak and onion on the old hexi stove and eating tubes of condensed milk.. some good times. As an adult I go camping often and have always tried to find ADF MRE’s online but to no avail. Nice review mate ..Steve1989MRE would be proud 🇦🇺👍🏼

The ADF ration packs cannot be sold here in Australia but there are civilian options out there that you can get from camping stores which tend to be the dehydrated meal type. The company in New Zealand that makes the ADF ration packs does sell some '24 hour ration packs' which have some but not all the contents of the ADF ration packs - check out their website portionpackfoods.com/products/ration-packs. I will be doing another ration pack giveaway very soon so be sure to enter that when it comes out.

It would seem the makers of this MRE were not much concerned with the appearance of the mains. This can work to the advantage of the Aussie fighting man though. If he or she is on a multinational mission and they are prepping their meals they don't need to worry about some Tommy from GB going round with his huge racing spoon asking for a taste.

@@stanjones2038 the same company in NZ that makes the ADF ration packs does sell a similar ration pack on the civilian market, they are $227 incl tax for 6 pack mixed carton but you have to add freight to that. Check out www.portionpackfoods.com Another option is camping stores do stock ration packs but they dehydrated food type which is more suited to lightweight hiking, expect to pay $50 - $60 each. Finally you could DIY and buy the individual items and make up your own, packing it all into a large clip lock bag.
