The good thing about these ration reviews is seeing commercial sourced items.. If you notice the USA keeps two venders in business and can dictate every little thing and it is all regulated packaging.. So you are in the weeds eating and it all comes in this packaging. You get your chocolate and it is great. Every bit as good as anything you could get.. however it isn’t Hershey .. it isn’t in the right presentation. There is no familiar feel.. In WW2 if you looked at the rations the “comfort food” was all in the commercial packaging.. the cigarettes, chewing gum and “jellies”. There is more to food than calories.. using shelf commercial foods give you that little more..

Yes I agree, it is nice to see a familiar brand 😊👍🏼 It does boost morale that little bit more. Although seeing Hersheys chocolate would crash my mood as I don’t like the taste 🤢 (but I wasn’t raised with it). It must be much cheaper for them to make massive quantities of generic food (just like it is with generic medicines). The thing I don’t understand with many rations is the inclusion of lots of caffeinated beverages. If you want your soldiers to be up and alert for extended periods, caffeine is a terrible stimulant…. especially when you overdo it. Anyway, thanks for watching. These look typically European, similar to the British,Dutch rations. They use the same companies and all the food is top notch. My favorite being the French 24 hour rations.

Agreed. They definitely are using a shared manufacturer for certain items, whether it be Jomipsa or Orifo. The French ration is one of my favourites too 😊👍🏼

They probably need to include a space blanket with printed instructions for a toilet / shower tent. Speaking of which, why does every mre video seem to tell me to add my own roll of toilet paper. Preferably a larger roll, in case you have to share , and everyone has the sniffles.

If only they included that 😁 One of the Tactical ration pack contains a shower 🚿 But nothing to shield yourself. Yep you always need more toilet paper/tissue and wet wipes! 😊👍🏼

So much food would be nice if they put some water in there to drink you know water pouchs there's a lot of food so how about some water to

Yes you definitely need plenty of water to wash this down. Some German rations give small pouches of water, but I think most users are issued water separately from the ration. All the best 😊👍🏼

Like with most heaters it didn’t get the food boiling hot, but it was nice and warm.

Yes there are a lot of crackers… 👍🏼😊 But I suppose they were thinking soldiers need food where the energy is quickly available to the body.. carbs are king in that respect 🤔

Good ration pack overall with a mix of civilian and military based products. Only real criticism is there is not enough coffee, no tea, not enough sugar and no creamer.

Agreed. Any self respecting grunt would move on. Unless there is enough product to give at least three brews a day at a strength that would cause a civilian to suffer a heart attack it’s not a real rat pack.
