Alright, I just gotta say, if you are getting the UpMap for your rs660, get the Sprint P08 air filter… Gabro tuned the maps to a set up with that sprint air filter specifically… and once I got a sprint air filter installed, the tune lined up perfectly… no more wheezing on the front end , the transmission/quick shifter is WAY smoother, and 1st and 2nd gear are now far more usable than ever before… and I swear, fuel consumption is more efficient even though it feels like more power is being generated The vibrations are more cohesive/symphonic now, though a bit heavier than before my CR-T/flash tune/air filter install

Just shifted the powercurve upwards with the shorter trumpets. The only advantage is the slightly better entry radius the carbons have. Definitely an item that would have been nice to dyno test with an ecu reset, before adding the exhaust. The air filter is pretty good noticed a very slight gain mid to top with mine. It will actually improve after the ecu adjust fuel trims to it. Great content as always.

Shorter velocity stacks should lend towards improved intake scavenging at higher rpm. Might net you a few horsepower when combined with a proper exhaust and tune. Can't wait to see the final hp and tq numbers!

Just watched another video of someone installing the SC project exhausts on a 2021 RS 660 and they seemed to conclude that removing the radiator when installing the exhaust was the way to go. (very restricted room and risk of damaging the radiator). Listening to SCP exhaust in yet another video and it sounds soo sweet.

Not required, just remove the three screws holding the radiator and it hangs far enough to provide plenty of room. No need to remove the radiator at all. Helps to have a folding ratchet.

No need to pull the whole tank off,just take the side black plastics off,same one you take off for shock adjustment,lift the tank enough to get a wrench to the bolt, I used a shop towel under the tank to keep the tank up,while I worked. Thank for the vid man!

Your stacks need to be swapped with shorter on the left because it won’t fit correctly on the right due to the airbox has a bump that holds it up from fitting all the way in.

Just ran into the same issue, checked the video and his left side stack is seen not making full contact with the bottom. Thought it was just me

Do you have carbon smiths? did you notice an improvement?

How does the sound change when driving when you accelerate? as soon as you accelerate with the 660 (under load) a deep sound comes out. how about the new air filter? Volume up? different sound?

where did you get your tank cap?

Do you need to pump the gas out or is it possible to do it with gas inside the tank?

Cali do you know if this dimpled velocity stanks are only installed with stock exhaust? Other question, can we install this kit in a Tuono 660?

making those changes with the limited bike, will you notice the difference?

What kind of HP improvement are you expecting?

Cali Moto I have the same bike as yours. But the other day I broke my safety clutch switch installing the ASV levers, and order the part do you think it will be hard to out them on.

What happens for the velocity stack screws if they get loose? 🙂 Aftermarket ones may be should have the same securing as in OEMs

They should have, at least , used a drop of Blue Loctite on each screw.

i think is because 270º engine firing , and balance the air flow inside engine ...

That air filter needs to be oiled before you put it in the bike.
