I should add, you absolutely CAN get new radiator fans and they come with new resistors. This is about $300 rather than $10-20, but if staying all original is important, this option IS available.

It is especially an issue on 3.4 996-es, Today I was in a friends 996 C4S that runs colder than mij 3.4 that has a low temp thermostat.

@@PaulLukeBonenfant resistors make fans go half speed , i think mine are broke and work only high speed when fans kick in ???

@@finnsxc3610 hmm, try replacing just the resistors and if that doesn’t work I highly recommend doing the high speed fan switch. It’s a takes a bit of time but it will solve this permanently
