How do i fix that wobbly front end? Thanks :)
old video i know, but those tank grips? anyone has a clue?
Great video. Love Dave Moss. He's the real deal. He race tunned my R1's suspension at Buttonwillow many years ago. The difference was nothing less than AMAZING! Night and day difference. My entrance and exit of high speed turns was like being on a monorail. I became almost fearless entering very high speed turns. Love your channel as well.
Informative upload! Cheers!
I gotta say my zx10r with full titanium akrapovich tuned sounds pretty sweet brother😂 keep ridin!!
It sounds good, but it's a typical inline 4. The R1 is different (same with the rsv4).
I had one. Very close between this and Aprilia v4.
For sure!
one of my fav bikes ive owned. so fun. i wish theyd update the SP paint design.

Huh?
I wanna like this video but I didn’t hear really any comparison. Just talked about likes and dislikes
Great vid! I really like the presentation mode...like talking to a friend and hearing their genuine reactions, nice!!
Perfect! That's what I was going for! I'll look to do more similar to this style.
Nice review. I have both bikes and I'm happy.
Thank you and awesome!!
Pin it, and 🙏 😊
😂 nah
@@CaliMotoTV give it to me then, ill pin and pray
@jerryvanderwal3836 again, nah. Not mine to "give" away and rather you not die due to poor choices...at least one's that have me involved in them🤣
@@CaliMotoTV 😆 understandable i have a 14 R1, well i have 4 bike
Amazing bike Highly underrated
Agreed
I really like my R10, but I needed to start using a ski mask to protect my ears and keep them laying flat in it. I also used a leather hole punch on the pads that cover the speakers and I can finally hear my music!
Huh, didn't have issues with my ears in it. I'm not going to be putting any speakers or anything in that helmet.
@@CaliMotoTV Right on, ear fitment was my only gripe. After trying it with a thin balaclava it's perfection. Also having the provisions for Cardo speakers was a great selling point over the Pista. Hope to hear a your review on it after spending some time with it; I think it's amazing so far.
How’s the fit? I have an Rpha-N1 and it’s almost my favorite helmet. But it pinches me at the temples and leaves me a small contusion on my left temple when i use it all day on track. Ventilation and aerodynamics are amazing. My Bell Race Star gets the most use on track and my RF1400 on road especially when it’s cool out.
It fits as perfect as my rf1400,after it got custom fitted to my head! Super light and soft padding. I'll give it a ride tomorrow and feel the airflow.
Btw I’m riding in Colorado at High Plains Monday with Josh Herrin. I may actually turn on the GoPro. Local Duc shop put together a private day
@robertwotring7318 oh I'm jelly!!!
Can the naked 1000r run with Super Sports in A class track days?
Sure can, but the question is, can you?
My dream bike
So if the single R can fit the double R can it be vise versa? can i get lower pegs for the RR
Can we get a part number for the pads please?
Can you explained that Dtc +7 and -7 whats the effect
The higher the number the more the traction control intervenes (DTC) which means it kills power so you don't highside if you spin the wheel in a turn...basically
@@CaliMotoTV so whats the good set up I'm riding the highway and some twisties
@Daot888 that is something you have to play with, everyone is different and your skill level, the road condition, etc. Plays into what settings to use.
How do connect rider helmet mine i can't connect
Fantastic bike! I’ve had mine for 2 years now! Always makes me giddy when I ride it!
FYI if its vibrating you're in too high a gear. It's a Ducati it likes to rev. Just gear down man. I've notice in a lot of these "first ride" videos it's not the bike that has a problem it's the riders who don't know how to ride Ducati's yet.
Why are street fighters are not as popular as cruisers or Sports bikes
I have a 2023 Hypeer 950SP. There's an easy solution for the seat; get a Mike Corbin, and your butt can be snugly cupped when you twist the throttle. I ride mine thru the redwood forests where I live in Northern California; and it handles technical roads and sweepers like it invented them. To anyone who decides to treat herself/himself to one, be sure to order and install Ducati Spacers to eliminate the loose throttle - you will be really happy you did. If you live, like I do, in a cooler climate, the heated grips make a huge difference - warm hands = better throttle & brake control.
That's a grom on steroids cuh!!❤
Why don't u remove flappers and reinstall servo back in?
Ducati spacers brand makes nice heat shields that go under the panels. The car racer in me would have my manifolds ceramic coated *thick*.
Amazing! Very helpful! Thanks much - how tight fairing boots should be tightened?
How do you reset or remove the Message code for the turn signal?
Looks like a 400 on him
It’s not an easy install when you strip one of the hex bolts that Ducati decided to loctite in 😑🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ nice video, glad yours went smooth
just took the mesh off mine without having to remove the slip on from the motorbike , quite easy , the weld points were very light on mine , did the same cutting and removed the welding points with a small chisel , a hammer and small pliers , 😁 , thanks for the video !!!!
❤
Sorry to see you go, Bill. Your content has helped me out a lot between my V2 and V4 bikes. I hope for the best with your surgeries! I can hear the pain and sadness in your voice. Know that you were an important part of the community and helped the Ducati brand and Panigale platform tremendously. Cheers brother! Looking forward to catching up with your content, Chris!
I might have the balls to change an oil by myself, but i'd never touch a brake lol i don't trust myself on my safety, and somehow i trust some other mf, weird
Like any mechanical thing, it's just a process and if you follow it you'll be fine...
I prefer it with a silencer
Can’t wait to ride one. That will be the determining factor between this and the RT.Great review, thank you!
Chis is a super cool guy, but I think we all kinda miss your enthusiasm and vibes. Once again, Chris you're a cool dude,.
I appreciate that and understand where you're coming from!
Test rode a V2 Panigale today. I didn’t really enjoy it. It was rather uncomfortable and I’m bang on 6ft. Ended up taking out a V4 street fighter which was unreal
The sf is a crazy good bike...😉
Cheers for the video. I'm considering buying an RR here down underRR. I believe you kicked it passed the tipping point for me 🤣 Cheers mate.
Heck yea! From what I experienced you won't be disappointed!
Sucks these bikes are having engine problems. I love what I see and have watched about these. Michael Neevesy didnt love it on tour in Europe though. Said it was uncomfortable.
I didn't ride it nearly as long as he did. But for what it is, I didn't feel it was that uncomfortable, quite the opposite compared to others.
@@CaliMotoTV they weee definitely dealing on these bikes too.
Aprilia Is a dream bike for me..i have one,and i love It
I have the 2015 one, did alot of mod to it and i love it!
I rode my friends ben V4 MULTISTRADA and i didnt like the handle bar setup
What didn't you like about it?
They were positioned weird is all nothing like my 1260s
The same here, my 1260 PP feels so much faster and lighter, also much better handling. I would only get a V4 Multistrada PP for very long highway rides, a lot of wind protection as it’s a lot bigger and smoother engine.
What happened to Bill Schaffer? Who dis guy?
@@ApexMotow go watch the video from January, it explains everything.
Awesome bike!!!! i also modified mine! changed the tires to the bigger one, changed my rims, get brembo caliper and many other stuff!! i love the bike!!!
Those chromed whale turd mufflers would be replaced on my bike......Just looking at them; they look easy to find replacements for.
