    Your videos are getting better, audio is improving as well:) If you ever want to do some content on a really great Ducati that dosnt get very much love, I would be interested in allowing you to feature/ride the 1200 R monster, or revisit the BMW M 1000 R. Let me know. Keep up the great content Chris, long time supporter of the channel.

    toTV from your video, righthand bends be on the yellow line. Left-hand bends be on the white line, improve vision around the bends. Do all your braking on the straight, slow in fast out. If you're riding faster, if traffic allows be on the wrong side of the road, improves vision around bends even more.

    @smerlapke I can't bring myself to purposefully go on the wrong side, on a road that is as tight and narrow as this. I'm sure there's canyon runs where doing that would be an advantage, but this road, I personally couldn't do that.

    One finger braking is bad, m'kay? Try adding in a second finger when you unexpectedly need more braking power.. You can't !!

  • @CaliMotoTV

    @CaliMotoTV

    4 ай бұрын

    I disagree on both, but you can easily rest 2 fingers if you feel better doing that. My point is to cover the brakes so however you choose to do that is your preference.

    @@CaliMotoTV Have you tried ? Its impossible to add in a second finger... Besides, I never cover; only in busy traffic.

  • @CaliMotoTV

    @CaliMotoTV

    4 ай бұрын

    @literal_lee that's your choice not to, after taking Yamaha Champ school, I do all the time now. As for one finger, I have needed to brake hard and had more than enough power to stop/maneuver with 1 finger. Though that could be dependent on the bike (v4r vs something with lesser brakes).

  • @literal_lee

    @literal_lee

    @@CaliMotoTV Maybe one finger is enough for this bike. But you are developing a bad habit. On any other bike you might need two, like on my old R1 e.g. Also... all safety systems have a redundancy feature. Using only one finger there's no redundancy. You can disagree all you want, but you can't deny the absence of redundancy.

  • @CaliMotoTV

    @CaliMotoTV

    4 ай бұрын

    @literal_lee you might be right, I agree that redundancy is important. I will say do what feels right to you. On bikes that I haven't ridden yet or don't know well yea I'll use 2 fingers. Oh the R1 even the R1M I reviewed the stock brakes on that were terrible, I had to use my whole hand 🤣 I saw on your page you are (were) an instructor? Where at?
