2019 Rogue Invitational | Snatch & Press - Full Live Stream

Спорт

Complete, official live stream of the Individual Snatch and Press event from the 2019 Rogue Invitational in Columbus, Ohio. As the penultimate competition of the weekend, this event saw challengers trying their best to gain ground on the overall leaders and current kingpins of CrossFit, Mat Fraser and Tia-Clair Toomey. Athletes still hoping to qualify for the CrossFit Games, including Rachel Garibay, Colten Mertens, and Chandler Smith, also looked to solidify their place.
The Snatch and Press involves three rounds of 20 Dumbbell Presses (100 LBS for the men, 70 LBS for women) and 9 Strict Parallette Handstand Push-Ups (4” for men, 2” for women).
For leaderboards and additional info, go to www.roguefitness.com/invitati... or follow us at / rogueinvitational for the latest updates.

Whoa, I feel that the difficulty of a handstand pushup is very related to your body geometry, depending how far you'll need to go down before your head touches the box. See the big difference @6:12 and her competitor @6:24... A much heavier position to push up from.

But bigger athletes should have advantages with things like stride length and weights. That being said Mats competitive drive, engine and work ethic is unmatched.

Does the average avid troll even know what a #100 db feels like, or even a #70 for the matter? When I was younger I thought I was doing something special by lifting 100s off the rack, backing up to a bench, lie down and press out 8 reps, bring them down to my knees, stand up and farmer carry them back to the rack, all without ever dropping them to the floor. These girls are doing single arm snatches for 60 reps total, plus the HS pushups plus the time cap. Damned incredible I'd say! At my current fitness level I 'd dare say I could do the same with #50, not including the HS pushup(I might get one or two, but certainly not 27)
