    @@Cornwall1888 nah Brian said on his own channel the 1051 actually felt good and he thinks he would have completed it if the hamstring didn't pop. he was at peak strength coming in and easily matches thor in all categories. managed 1 full rotation with the stone and 95 feet in the 3rd event without a hamstring. and an easy rep of the oak before his leg/balance gave way. he would have won it even with 2nd place deadlift. shouldn't have gone near a chiro for an adjustment before the comp.

    edgar mendoza not a surprise to his fans. He is an all rounder and that is ALWAYS key. What gets me is there is so much hype around others and he seems to be ignored. Yet, he consistently performs on the big stage! So proud and happy for the guy! MARTINS!

    Its stupid to train through an injury like that. Unless the injury is fabricated to excuse your poor performance, in which case it’s a brilliant way to get credit for performing badly.

    Better supplements and training than the 90s many of the strong men back then would be up there now with similar training styles as these guys. The strongest guy is the guy that wins the latest events as people can over take eachother in strength each year

    fairly normal for 2 or 3 of the 10 man field to get an injury from the show. its not because of the deadlift. probably the only thing they all train year around so if anything its the safest in terms of knowing correct form and such. that wheel of pain looks sketchy tho the way some were pushing it
