    Rack or no rack has nothing to do with a raw lift, raw only refers to equipment that would aide or support the individual making the lift (i.e. belts, suits, wraps etc.) not the point at which a lift would start or finish like a rack, you can raw lift out of a rack.

    I actually dont think he would be able to jump to 600 to 700 pounds. Sure he can squat it, but that initial movement to get it up is where adding more weight becomes exponentially harder.

    I would hope so. He can put 400 pounds over his head I would expect him to be able to squat 550 haha. One of the strongest men in the world and that’s a squat weight your local aspiring power lifter can probably manage.

    Alot of work go into these weight lifting bars my dad has a 1000 pound horse buggy axle he lifts it really makes you appreciate what lifting gear you got

    What makes this hard isn't entirely because of the raw style of lifting or the weight. It's the uniqueness of the squat barbell. It's spheric shapes of the ends cause it to be harder to grip and balance than doing a regular Olympic barbell squat.
