2018 Ducati Panigale V4 Pt.2

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Thank you for being patient by watching Part 1 first, thinking that you were going to watch a piece on the new Panigale V4. In that part, we covered the history of Ducati superbikes but, fear not, because in this part, we bring you up to speed on everything you need to know about the new bike. In time we'll have a proper road test of the bike, but you'll have to wait for a few weeks for that. In the meantime, enjoy the sight of Donovan crashing his heart out!

    God i want this so bad. the V4S ! but do you guys think the base V4 is more than enough? mainly for road. Will not use this on the track. Already got the yamahas dedicated to do that job. But somehow the base V4 is pretty good for occasional track day bike I would think.

    In MotoGP it only won with Stoner on board. As for the Duc V4S, it was found out that a 05 GSXR1000 still one to two second faster than Panigale V4S. Last year in MotoGP it was beaten by another V4, the KTM R16.

    Great, it`s an awesome bike... but guys what you think about this. There should be more discussion in future about this bikes telling to the companies..he nowadays sportsbikes become so extreme by riding position and so powerfull that street use does not make so much fun anymore..they should also offer a racebike without all this euro norms an lights, expensive fairings etc. for a little bit a less of price.. that people could affort it and say.. i will use it just as a racetrack bike. what do you think about it?

    I enjoyed the video, great job gents (especially the comment that the V4 S is better than the super leggra). However, I'm sorry but the crash was 100% your fault dude...it's your responsibility to not hit someone in the ass end...you should have grabbed some rear brake their and stopped your turn in (a former 2 class AMA Expert License holder).

    Glad you enjoyed the video mate. Technically, he hit my side, not me hitting his rear. And there is a rule that states that the passing rider is responsible for overtaking safely, but there is also another rule that says a slower rider must stick to his line and not do anything strange or unexpected. By the time I realised he wasn't turning it was too late to tap any rear brake or do much more (three times Battle of the Twins champion and current MSA racing licence holder).

    Plus a lot of different factors can contribute to more or less hp on the dyno. I saw one do 199hp, motorcycle.com got 198.5hp and motorapido got 203hp. Your numbers look more like the ones you'd get with the V2.

    Eh to be honest a bit of a shame. It just reduces the amount of innovation and completely different engine types. It is exactly the V-twin that i think brought a lot of people to ducati because of the engine and the engine characteristic. Strange to change it to a V4.

  • @douglasw4082

    @douglasw4082

    Well yea, I bought my Ducati because, its a Ducati with a 90 degree V twin. That was pretty much perfect. But then again that configuration has proven to be a bit rough on power delivery, I think it is afterall a good thing to move forwards. At least there are still L-twin Ducatis to buy, they havent taken them all away from us :))

  • @tHaH4x0r

    @tHaH4x0r

    6 жыл бұрын

    Yeah that is kind of the point, A V or L twin might not be as good for power delivery, but wasnt that what ducati was all about? Feeling and stuff, instead of optimization on performance?

  • @douglasw4082

    @douglasw4082

    6 жыл бұрын

    Yea, I can agree to an extent on that end, but the fact that they still offer L-twin bikes make sit fine for me. They want maximum performance and you cant deny that they are getting it xD Although im much more of a fan of the 1199/1299 Pani. Favourite though would go to the 1098/1198. So dont get me wrong :)
