Hey brother, got a 1098, choosing between a v4 or a 2020 RR. Been following your builds. Which did you enjoy more, your 20 S1k or the V4? I’m keeping my 1098 so figured I’d get the s1k for some diversity but I keep watching your V4 build and it’s tempting me more lol. Let me know what your honest preference is brother

The part where you talked about road trips and seeing bikes and imagining what it was like to ride them, that really struck a chord with me.

I have always loved the look of the Panigale line of bikes... The V4S has just raised the bar on all things "beautiful" in my eyes... Thanks Chase for putting a smile on my face, your first rides are really well done. I really like the rotoscoped specs you did when you were talking about your sponsor spot. Nice touch to keep the video cohesive and flowing well. I don't see anyone else doing that sort of thing.

Yeah I noticed that. It’s only 39 minutes then 10 minutes of nothing.

The quick shifter and the sound coming from that Akro exhaust is absolutely music to the ears. I'll never be able to afford one. But that's why we have you Chase to live vicariously through. So thank you for being able to bring us a bike this AWESOME!! P.S. - would love to see a first ride an Indian Scout Bobber or the Indian Chieftain (Darkhorse).

Well the bike is very stable during that speed. If the bike felt like snapping the handlebars to left or right your hands won't hold that shit

It’s because a motorcycle is the most stable at higher speeds with the suspension compressed that’s why motorcycles are harder to ride when at slower speeds

@@themechanicred The suspension isn't the factor (minus the ability to handle inconsistencies in the road surface). A motorcycle is less stable at slower speeds because the stabilizing effect of inertia and the gyroscopic forces imparted by the wheels lessen as speed decreases. The positive caster at which the forks sit are a factor of stability but not being compressed.

I bought one of these a few months ago with the full exhaust as well. Race mode is absolutely INSANE!!! Chase is spot on, you can't feel just how fast you are going.

Your reaction, this video, epitomises the very definition of joy on a motorcycle. It was euphoric to watch as it reminded me of my first ride on my first big bike after getting my license. A Ducati 899. Great video dude.

I remember when chase was at 20k subs filming on a drifter with the og r6. Hes turned into an incredible videographer, always producing interesting, fun and knowledgeable videos. Love this channel, one of the real og channels! Keep it up Chase you da man!

Watching this again a year later, and I love how he talks about how the power is way up in the rev range, but looking at the Tach he wasn’t even within 4,000 rpm’s of the rev limit of around 16k. He revved to about 11,500 both times he went up in the rev range, and either let off, or upshifted before even getting into the highest band of power

I'd never get this bike based on price...but then seeing how easily you were able to hit high speeds....it's probably just dangerous for anyone that's a seasoned track rider...however the technology in it could totally filter down to more reasonable bikes eventually. Great Review Chase! I'm thinking this bike isn't in the Super Sport Class, instead I would put it in a Super Bike or Hyper Bike catagory. You test rode it on a cool day on semi wet roads. You gave the bike the respect it deserved considering all the dynamics. Good for you.

My favorite part of the V4S is the looks...I don’t care how good looking a bike is, if it’s cooking my legs and chestnuts I won’t be riding it long and definitely not in town on hot summer days. Excellent video Chase! Now go first-ride an RSV4! You know...just to compare and contrast the two V4’s.

Love the color correction, makes the color of the bike really pop

the wheelie control is set super high..when the yellow light is on the ecu is restricting power.. keep it in race, turn off wheelie control and thennnn you get all the power, massive diff

I like that the exhaust is asymmetrical, that was one of the first details that stood out to me when they premiered the bike back in the day. And the girl who sat on it, luckily she seemed symmetrical.
