nice job as always Tony!!
Nice review
I agree - the exterior style is not awe inspiring - but it was a fun vehicle to tackle everyday activities
I hope this helps :) and thanks for watching my video :) Tony
Great informative review, Tony. You're not getting older, you're getting better. BTW is it worth the extra mulah to step up to the JX 35? also, great filming location!!!
My brother bought the '13 SL Trim, after watching the new york autoshow w/ 2014 Toyota Highlander, he's havin a second thought.
I don't know - I haven't tested the new Santa Fe - but I will say that I like the looks of the Hyundai much better. where the Pathfinder wins is a lively driving experience (if you stay out of the deep curves) and versatility. Can't wait to find and test the Santa Fe though!
I would - if I had the money - I was missing some of the goodies that we had - like the power liftgate and the heated seats. but the overall performance was similar.
this current pathfinder model design is more a Murano-ish than a pathfinder. thanks for the video.
nice! summer time is fun time :)
thanks!
I love your reviews. In your opinion, between the Acadia, the Explorer, the CX-9 and the Pathfinder, which one you feel is the better 7 seater?
the explorer does indeed have a third row option. I know this because I took 6 adults out to din, din in it the last time I was in your neck of the woods. I'd say that the third row was very similar to the pathfinders. you are right about this being a home run - though I'm not in love with the styling as you mentioned.
The Xterra is Nissan's go to rugged looking SUV. I wish the pathfinder still had at least some ruggedness.
Hey Matt - I can see what Consumer Reports is saying about thigh support - but I don't think it's a deal breaker on this model. The second row offers good room and flexibility overall. There are a host of good options today to defeat the minivan - I love the Pilot, Durango Explorer and the GM triplets as well. I also hear that the Mazda CX-9 is very flexible too. What this means to you is negotiating power. Test them all and get the best deal - keep emotion out of the buying process.
Fellow Clown Tony! Obviously they hit a home run here. May not be the most sportiest or luxurious but what it does in every area it does very well! To bad about the outdated tech in the screen. When you think you have to spend the the next so many years with tech that's outdated now. Like me with CD player. The price is right at the Explorer and others that don't offer a 3rd row which I think is a must if you have at least 2 kids. There is always friends.
I enjoyed driving it. Nice for the suburbs my friend :p
I agree with that!
@MrYoda1972 hmm.. I'm not so sure on that because according to Nissan, the next generation Murano is coming next year, as a 2015 model. It will also be built in the USA, rather than Japan
So, which one is better mechanically JX35 or Pathfinder?
now that's a good one!
The nickname ciculating around the internet for this new Nissan is: The Nissan Mallfinder. LOLOLOLOL
i agree 100%
indeed - what part of the country?
i wonder if Nissan is actually going to discontinue the Murano and stick with this current concept of Pathfinder/Murano, merge into one model.
I've read that the CX-9 is pretty good all around. I have yet to drive one so I would say that between the Ford and the Nissan I would lean towards Ford. But the Nissan will appeal to you if you are buying - rather than leasing and if you like more of a car like feel. The Pathfinder was much more nimble in my book. The passenger room seems to be a push as I remember it. I'd def go test all three so you have a choice and negotiating power :) Let me now what you decide to do
no honda reviews?
this or 2013 santa fe?
I will get that new Accord if I have to steal one :) soon!
I'd go with the JX - it has more standard stuff.
Why do they keep ruining suv's? Are they going to round out a Jeep Wrangler now?
It has a CVT trasmision:-(
I live up in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada hence my pegcity name
ha ha - tell me how you really feel lol
When and cool we should Have coffee
