We’ve owned a turbo Kona for 6 years with ZERO issues. On the other hand, over the years, both our Subaru’s had engine failures because the passenger side firewall cylinder is not adequately cooled. Common-ask around. Also, Subaru is years behind on technology advances. For example, they still haven’t adopted a key fob. Poor performing CVT transmissions and under powered engines are the norm. Exhaust pipes run next to CV joints so rubber cover dries out and cracks forcing replacement. Heat shields are so thin they fall off with minimal effort from driving on snowy roads, etc. Toyota offers so much more.

Subaru CVT's are the same as Toyota. Have never had problems with any of mine. My 24 Crosstrek Sport has a key fob and push button start. The 2.0L engine is a little underpowered but still adequate. My sport has the 2.5 and gets up to speed on the highway in plenty of time and I can pass no problem. Nothing on google about inadequate cooling of the passenger side firewall cylinder. I believe you're just a Subaru hater and not objective.

A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash. A hole in the engine block increases the risk of a fire. In the 1st review vid the Ai voice was totally recognizable as Ai. And the script that was read referred to lack of "spare" parts when serviced which really is a REPLACMENT part. This misuse of a wrong word is common in using Ai to do all the work for the human so the human can receive easy money. Again, 3 sites are just talk of Ai that did not drive the vehicles in comparison shootout & a human talking the good & not so good points.

These AI generated text reading channels are lazy and ridiculous. The mispronunciation of common words is hilarious. As soon as I have even a hint that it's not a real human being speaking, I downvote and move on.

Not the older ones. My first car was a 1972 Squareback, with 24,000 miles on it & IT HAD AIR CONDITIONING. LOVED THAT CAR. Drove it 8 yrs. with only 1 thing needed replaced, which was around $200 but now (at almost 70 yrs), cannot remember what that was. Never had anything else done. If I ever found one in good shape & affordable, I'd buy it!
