I went to Silverstone for the first time back in 1995 to have a look at F1 . I was totally blown away by the cars and followed F1 with a passion until the V10 era finished in 2005 . V8 came along in 2006 and I new then for me this was the end of my passion for F1 with the loss of those fantastic V10 sounding engines. I saw the hybrid cars last year at Silverstone and went home early! I can still smell the race fuel and hear that booming screaming sound in my mind.
The sound of that Williams-BMW sent chills down my spine

His 2001 renault is a bizarre beast. 110 degree v-angle engine provide very low center of gravity, giving it a huge advantage on high speed corners, while providing less overall power output than other competing engine. Thus lesser acceleration. In tracks with plenty high speed corners such as spa and old hockenheim, they compete against the likes of mclaren and ferrari on track, however on most other track where slow corners forcing the need of lengthy acceleration on exit, they compete against arrows and minardi...

What exactly was exciting about F1 in 2001? The races were shit, the driver's championship was a one-horse race, there were only two good cars on the grid, and there was no overtaking. So other than the vroom-vroom noises, what on earth was good about this season or this era? You nostalgia-tards are ridiculous.
