08 already has a V8, and IMO V10 is at its peak in 2004, with Ferrari unleashing their beast, the F2004. It good that they started making V8 at 2006, I'm good with it

It’s letting the engine rev to a degree under braking. The exhaust is designed so that they blow air to the diffuser, generating more downforce at low speed

No and no. Additional fuel is purposely being dumped into the exhaust in order to accelerate the airflow in the diffuser to create more downforce while cornering. Now banned.
