That tug of war event was so brutal!

Manfred was great

The introduction of the heats changed the competition forever and I'm not sure it was for the better. It introduced quite a bit of luck because of the few events that decided the heats. Not to mention that it probably contributed to the reduction in events for the finals as well.

I really do think Manfred could have won it if Magnus wasn't in form, just goes to show how well rounded Magnus was though

It was a shame that Gary Taylor couldn't qualify, I think he could've won another WSM title
