Why most things taken apart in this world never come back together. 😂 Any idiot can take something apart. The number who can put that thing back together again? Much smaller.

Absolutely beautiful work and it looks like it just came from the toy shop! I was truly impressed by how few tabs broke off considering the age and condition of the Carousel. Hi, its amazing to me how you find these very old toys in very bad condition and considering this one is over 90 years old make it better than new. Great little toy and you did wonders for it, but if you flared those propellers just a little they would spin while the planes are flying.

Awesome restoration. If you put the slightest twist onto the propellor blades, the speed that goes round at they'd turn beautifully as it ran, it'd look like the engines were working.

the random use of a Pokémon card to help you smooth down the puddy to fill in the gaps caught me off gaurd and made me laugh out loud lol

Thanks for preserving this adorable toy. It's heartwarming to see it so beautiful and working again. The child who played and enjoyed this toy is mathematically not of our world anymore. He probably, I genuinely hope so, had a plentiful and mosty happy life, and by restoring this toy, you're somewhat resurrecting happy moments of the childhood of this unknown person. You can be very proud of what you're doing. Anyway enough of emotionality. How do you manage to powdercoat in two different colors ( 8:12 )? Both at the same time? Masking one side, then doing the other? Isn't the first done paint overcooked, if put in the oven twice?

Hey Damien thanks a lot for your unwavering support 😌🙏 This carousel is my Christmas gift 🤩 Regarding the paint I just spray one side without any masking tape, then it’s cursed at 180ºc/10min. I spray the other side with the different color, no tape either, and I remove the excess of powder with a brush or just with my finger 🙌 The paint can be baked several times 👍
