Power driven diesel ppump tuner or get a built bd diesel p pump. I would run bugger turbo like 60 to 64 mm. Studs for reliability. And maybe some gov springs to rev it higher. And do the killer dowel pin fix

I have a 98 12 valve. Regardless cab, flat deck. Dually. Stacks on it. 5 speed. Need a new cab as existing is rusted out. Ever read up on swapping out the 5 speed for a 10 speed eaton fuller? Lots of issues, need air compressor for 1. How to keep 4x4? Dont need the pulling power , just love shifting gears. Thoughts anyone? Ian.

  • @highoctain113

I plan on doing this on my rig in the future. I want to swap to the 13 speed, I love shifting gears too, most people I have talked to tell me it's not worth it because you would be shifting gears all day... for 1 that's why I want to do it, and 2 nobody gets that you dont ha e to use every gear every time... use evens or odds, top or bottom, every 2 gears... it all depends on the situation, but it's a whole lot of gearing selection lol... it's a lot of work, lots of specific parts that you really have to know where to get... right now I'm putting in the nv5600 just to run as a manual for now until I collect all the parts I need... it can be done, there are people on KZread that have done it. If you can fab and know how to wrench it's pretty simple. It's all just nuts and bolts any way you look at it.

Someone had used a puller at one point to get it off, I saw the flat spot left on rubber across balancer when I did front cover gasket and seal. Someone was in there before me.
