I dont know where or what the other kids were doing, but that little guy worked his heart out helping you. Bet your brother-in-law was glad you showed up. You did a lot of work. Happy Thanksgiving. I can remember going to the ranch belonging to my father's family for Thanksgiving almost every year and working. Something always needed done, and things were always falling apart. When I was 14 dad and I rebuilt the front porch, when I was 19 we built a bathroom and leach lines; finally had indoor plumbing. Don't miss it.

Farm kids have lots of chores, and maybe they didn't want to be on camera much. Plus, don't forget it was Thanksgiving. Perhaps some were drafted into the kitchen.

The women WERE helping, just no so much on camera. Plus, don't forget they prepared the Thanksgiving feast, in addition to the fact that every farm has chores to do with the animals. I know in our family, everyone has chores. The animals never wait.

What a hoot ! Your nephews did great creating a family activity, including providing instructions to subscribe, etc. You did months of work in two days l Now, being an alert grandma here. The children heard the tone of discomfort in your voice and asked what's wrong? You replied, Nothing." That is confusing for them. Directly address its a dang stickers. Thst way they can trust their instincts. I hope you saved the wood pieces. That's REAL lumber!

Spent most of the time admiring the little guy working so hard. Super job everyone!

those stones arent cheap at landscaping places, unless you can did them up. All the wood is good for wintering small shelters for animals.

Wow. Just wow. Looks much like the farm my father bought when I was a kid. It was a wreck with old farm equipment all over the place. But dad set about cleaning it up, gornthat old Minnie Moe tractor working, set up fences. Rebuilt the barn and the house, and we raised our own beef, and had some horses. I REALLY relate to this one. A job well done.

I bet there big smiles on everyone’s faces at the finish of this epic clean! Good work everybody especially the little guy who stuck with it. ❤🇨🇦👏👏👏

If you're working in stickers, you're going to need leather gloves! Also, a brush cutting trimmer would help. And a pitchfork for moving the piles. A farm raises crops and a ranch raises animals plus crops. There's always a learning curve, you do great work! ❤

Being from Michigan, there are no ranches, all properties are called farms and hence all who work land or animals are called farmers. Only in the west do we think of ranches and cowboys. Like someone said, it is a learning curve. Thanks for sharing!

I would like to see the "pile" of detritus/stuff collected. Not that I don't think it's much. It just makes a big impact seeing it all in one place. Farmers (in my experience) don't go to the dump/landfill. They dump it in the "back 40" by the farthest fence line. The cleanup visual would be very satisfying. 🙂

That was a very big job! Warms the heart to see family pitch in and help one another. My grandma always said "many hands make light work". And y'all proved it to be true. Looks wonderful!😀👍
