Young ladies, if you want a man like this you had better become a woman of the same character.
Being raised on a farm and having a father that was on the farm during the great depression I know about Junk equipment and what my dad called his bone yard of spare parts and things he might need. These old guys never threw anything away because they were raised and lived when you fixed what you had and you made do with everything. If you ever have the privilege to work with these older folks and realize this country could learn a lot from them about making things work rather then having the throw away society we have today. I really think your father and your grandfather would be busting at the seems proud of you. You have an amazing additude and if more young folks had your mindset this country of ours would turn around and it might sound crazy but it would return to the great place to live I remember . Well done and for what it's worth this old man is proud of you an would love to be able to call you my friend. God bless you and your future dreams.

Keeping in mind: your grandfather came from a MUCH DIFFERENT TIME. He was taught to use everything to its ABSOLUTE maximum. He looked at a boneyard as a savings account essentially. Cole, I am a 54 year old mother to 3 boys. My husband and I have been married for 28 years. The year of 2022 was absolutely awful to us as we lost our house in Norcal Jan02,2022 and we became homeless. We fortunately had an old tent trailer which we camped in for 6 whole months. Then my husband went back to work after cv19. So, on 6/24 he fell between 8-30 ft down to the ground. He was hurt so bad and ended up needing emergency brain to to the speech center of his brain. His job put me and our kids into hotel rooms. We got out of the hotel rooms and finally found a large brand new house that would fit me and our 3 kids. We moved in 2 weeks ago. My husband is still in the hospital 6 months later and he is improving but he still can’t walk, talk, eat, swallow and we did what we told ourselves we were going to do. On a good note if you want to take it this way, I lost over 100lbs this year and I look in the mirror and I can’t believe how much I have changed. Wearing cloths I have not been able to wear since before my kids were born. My point here is, we learned what not to do and get into a rental house to have a safe roof over our heads and to get our lives back together. We are doing it.

This might be one of the most satisfying videos I’ve ever watched. To see this place that has been neglected for so long, cleaned up and restored to its full beauty just fulfills something g deep in me. I’m sure that this farm has done tons of work and all of the things that were used up and left behind are a testament to those generations of hard work. But it’s so nice to see your property be used in a way that honors it’s beauty instead of treating it as a junkyard for all of the discarded tools from all those years of work. What an accomplishment and what an honor to all of the generations of your family who have lived there will live there. Keep up the good work Cole and family!!
The trees!!!! Now it's beautiful, like a dessert.

Well you get old and you get sick. The only time a farm doesn't look messy is if it's royalty and you can pay crazy amounts for people to keep it looking perfect. Farms will always be messy. There's just too much work for people to do. People get old and sick. They most likely didn't wanna stress their grandpa out while he was alive so they waited until after to clean.
You didnt give up and as much as grandpa would have found a use for everything, he would be so proud of you.

The bad part is there will be sinkholes for decades in every one of those spots. As the ground settles over time with rain and snow, it will create voids below that the dirt above will wash down into. Prior generations on our farm have buried things like this (barns, old houses), and we continue to fight settling now. It may take 100 years for that ground to be stable. Makes for a dangerous situation when driving over those spots with heavy equipment too. I commend Cole and his family for the cleanup, but hate to think of what they will be dealing with in coming years. I predict a video called “There’s a hole in my yard!”

I grew up on a hop ranch with other lesser crops and livestock. My dad had his junk pile, but I would not have believed this amount of junk machinery could have been left for you! Unbelievable! Could not stop watching your clean up.
This is the first video of yours I've seen. I really needed to see this. I absolutely love it. And I felt so relieved when it was finished! ❤ You're wise beyond your years.

Same here.
First time I found your channel. I picked a good one. I'm 74 and have always had the same attitude you have. I'll let you in on secret. IT'S WORTH IT. Keep taking those small steps. When you look back, you'll surprise even yourself. One piece of advice. Do things once! Don't be tempted to empty the truck on the spot and think you'll pick it up later. Put things where they belong, and where you can find them, when next you need it. You'll save a lot of time, and have time to take another forward step, instead of backwards or sideways. Good luck kid. Wish I was your age, so I could have another 50 years of doing some more things on the ever changing bucket list.
Well done, Cole. We need a million Coles in our country right about now.
your grandfather would be so unbelieveably proud of you and what you have done
What a great production! You have a future in video editing. If you're near the Amish, their barn railings take 2-3 days, and there's never a dull moment. Your talent is in making the mundane interesting with music, 3x speed, and picking productive results. You'll enjoy this the rest of your life. The topic was special. Your next video will be hard to match this. Keep plugging! Thanks!
And this is why the world will always need young people and for the older generations to pass the torch to them. You should be proud Cole.
For his age, the young fella has more class then most!
I'm so proud of you! May your farm and your family prosper.
This is incredible, you should be proud of all that you've accomplished. Nothing short of amazing the transformation of this property. I watched from beginning to end and I recommend this video to anyone.
Poor DC is never gonna live down the tree through the excavator window..lol

NEVER!
Thank you for putting this video together and sharing it with us, Cole. You should be very proud of yourself for being so steadfast in your vision and your determination to achieve your goals. The amount of work you've done on your grandpa's farm is absolutely incredible and so are the sacrifices you've made to achieve it. I don't know you but I am as proud of you as if you were my own son!

I agree!
Your not normal, your a success, look what you have done, your not a quitter, I am impressed. It’s a good thing that your young, a lot of older folks would not have taken this on. Your Grandpa had faith in you, it was a gift, and you earned it all. Your property is worth a pretty penny. Good for you.
You are seriously a bright kid. You are the ones that built this great country. It took me much longer than you for me to figure out the formula for a great life in America. But I did it too - unwittingly.
We’re proud of you Cole. You’re an inspiration to a lot of people.
Your Grandpa would be so proud of you! Great job!
Great job Cole. I miss the trees, but I understand why. Can't wait to see new landscaping going in and a few flower beds? Fingers crossed, haha.
I remember cleaning my Uncle's farm in Minnesota. The task seem daunting. I thought it was a massive task - it was nothing compared to your farm. Wow - so totally impressed. My motto in life: Never Give up!
the guy that was running the loader is a legend lmao

That is one word to describe him.................. Definitely aggressive....
This is my favorite video Cole I have watched you for 3 years I think.I started when you were cleaning out the basement and of all the great videos this is numeral Uno lol
As a junk collector, the beginning of this video fills me with great trepidation… 10:11-Dog thinking”WTF are you doing???” 13:30-windmill in the background is a bad omen. 16:29-first tractor my grandfather bought loaded on a trailer to leave. I’m hoping at this point it’s going for restoration.
You are an inspiration to the world. Imagine how beautiful it would be if everyone did what you’ve done. Watching this makes everyone realize that you can do whatever you set your mind to. Thank you Cole. You’re an amazing guy.
If your Grand Pa Ray could see the farm, you better believe he would be proud. Thank you for doing this, filming it, and reminding us of something that many loose over time; our own dreams. Thank you Cole, You inspired me!
How can there be almost 34,000 views of this absolutely GREAT video and only a little over 7,000 👍’s??? It must’ve taken Cole days to do this video and take us all on a trip down memory lane. For God’s sake, push the damn like button! Great job Cole and I love your whole family, exactly what we need to see in America today. 🎊❤️🎉
