100 years of Communist Disaster

This year marks communism's 100th birthday. Its horrors should remind us of the value of freedom.

When communism was first implemented 100 years ago, people were excited.
Western academics and media figures at places like the New York Times praised the ideology even as millions starved. The praise continued even as communist leaders murdered political opponents.
Today, some Antifa activists carry communist flags. Some say communism failed in the Soviet Union because it wasn’t “done right."
But communism has been tried again and again-- in dozens of countries. It always fails. Stossel talks with Lily Tang Williams, who grew up in China, where tens of millions starved to death after government abolished private farms. Lily’s father taught her to trap rats for food, but then even the rats ran out.
Somehow she survived, and now she says she never wants to be without freedom again.
She's so passionate about freedom that she ran for US Senate in 2016 as a libertarian.
She says her mission in life is to tell people that life without freedom is awful.
Produced by Maxim Lott. Edited by Joshua Swain.

That is the thing about America, you can come here and the day you become a citizen, you are considered American as anybody else. As for the Banks, most all of the problem was that the Government forced them to do the thing that got them in trouble in the first place. Look up Community Reinvestment Act.

😂🎉 that wasn't real communism LMAO. Very naive. Where do you think the elites go there in communism? The assembly lines with the sheeple getting basic Russians and nothing else for old days labour? No! They continue to little good lavish lifestyle wake up this is naive. I'm besides capitalism is any type of production, therefore capitalism exist in communism but only that it's operated by the states and the state the issues rations for people's labour. And crony capitalism Kanopolis get most of the money with a little trickle down to the workers and a few trips to Disney World. Yet it's capitalism also. A bird uses its energy to gather our resources and turning the final product which is its nest is also participating in its own type of capitalism, or economics. Very basic if you don't want all your academic mind control institutions confuse thanks make it to be so complicated when it's very basic. Women always look up the socioeconomic ladder when choosing a mate for long-term purposes you told me all your going to sort yourself out in communism if you cannot have a higher socioeconomic standing then her? What's going to happen to your ability to attract a female? Sorry about the ankle herons that's Google's voice to text translator and I'm not going to type this out love getting paid😅

I've seen these testimonies many times. From the Cubans here in Florida and from the Vietnamese as well. Many Americans are now getting goodies from Uncle Sam, so freedom is pretty much on a death watch.

It’s hopeless. The young are poor. They think that the free-market system failed them. But it’s actually the free-market system that is under attack (by them) and is therefore causing their poverty. But it’s too complicated to explain this to them.

This is AMAZING!!!! That young lady is beyond fabulous! Wow! This should be required viewing by middle school thru college. Incredible!!!!!! John Stossel has more "common sense" than any person on the planet. All of his videos are mind blowing. His ability to communicate is second to none. Digressing, I have previously worked in a couple of industries where I met a few hundred celebrities. Had breakfast with John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin. Watched June Carter-Cash iron her own clothes as I prepared to escort her and Johnny Cash to an event. Sat in the 3rd row of a Jerry Seinfeld performance because that's where the tickets were that Jerry had available to me and my then wife. Got a kiss on the cheek from both Dolly Parton and another time Whitney Houston when both were the biggest celebrities in the world. The stories are endless. But one day someone asked me, "if you could have lunch with anyone in the world, who would you choose?" My answer then and my answer now is - JOHN STOSSEL. The guy oozes charisma without ego and can tell stories like no other. John, if you ever read this, hook me up. I'm actually an interesting and enjoyable person to be with myself. jeffreyfoj@gmail.com
