Love it! Amazing ! Incredible! Never going to buy it! Way too much!
This doesn’t show up in the US market. It’s not on amazon US or EBay? The links show it only in the UK. Have they not released this yet?
I want to use this projector on a 3x2,25 m screen... but will it be able to focus projecting such big image? The diagonal will be 146” aprox.
Nice video and room setup but man you need a brand new measuring tape. Haha
Does it handle 24p natively?
hi, what about judder? thanx a lot

You had me at 4,000 lm, damn that impressive. Now imagine a 4k 120fps HDR version LOL.

Dreamstate The deepest black you can ever get on any projector is always the screen itself. That is why you view them in a dark room. You can't "project" black. For these projectors you do need a (typically) expensive ALR screen though. Also, the lumen figures are misleading for UST - they're spread over a much much wider angle than a normal projector so there's significant dropoff compared to a longer throw projector - that's WHY they have to be that bright. They're not really comparable.
WHAT IS THE WALL PAINT COLOR PLEASE
is that wall coated with a special black paint, or is the optoma hz40ust able to project on black colored walls? will it be even brighter on a white wall?
@allthingstech
5 жыл бұрын
benjiebarker it’s not special paint it’s a gun metal color, it would appear a bit brighter on a light wall. The darker wall does add to the contrast
Can you ceiling mount this and have it projecting from above? (Can the image "flip" to accommodate this?)

how many cm from the screen if you want 120inch
I could not adjust the image size on mine. Could you please tell how to do it? Cheers, Paulo

Just got one before few months...remote control doesn't work. I tried few more remotes and nothing. I guess it is faulty IR reciever. Or maybe bad firmware. Can't find anything from Optoma.
I have a setup similar to yours could you tell me what color paint you used on your wall or what material that is in black

toosweet241 hi. Have you looked into mica beads/powder normal black Matt paint for wall and some white paint to add so it’s not so black

Why 16 by 10? seems an odd choice. And as it's a DLP machine how bad are the rainbows?

Thanks! I'm impressed, I've seen people using expensive grey screens. Often times the result is light grey color where the there should be white. That projector must be very bright to overcome that issue.

I hate reviews like this they leave out vital questions that needing answering. To brief for such a sophisticated item.. tut tut oh and that tape measure?
We have one mount available on Amazon, designed for this ultra short throw projector www.amazon.com/dp/B07H1D8F87 ,which can work well with ultra short throw projector, with 3 fine tune adjustment knobs, making aligning the image from corner to corner extremely easily.
"you can generate a screen image of over 100 INCHES at just 30 CENTIMETERS from the wall..." Of course, we can all do the conversion but why start with inches and finish with centimeters?

@@voyager4328 So, you're looking for a 100" display that can output 3D for a movie night with your neighbors... and your answer is to buy a *smaller* TV that can't do 3D, and requires everybody to sit on the floor/on top of each other. Pure genius.
