This was great to hear- I'm 75-have been vegetarian most of my life- vegan for the last five and purely organic vegan for over a year. Did a Pure Body Extra zeolite heavy metal detox a year and a half ago and I guess my kidneys couldn't handle all the toxins, my body had welts on most areas of my skin. Challenging and shocking and painful at the time- Larry Cook the guy who sold it to me said he'd never heard of that happening. So I just stopped it and waited it out. What I AM please with is I got to see what all the pesticides, fungicides, herbicides were doing to my organs and it shocked me so that I went totally organic. Really glad I did. Recently really eating way more fruit and by the way- I soak dates over nite and blend with a bit of the soaking water to make date paste- use it for all my sweetening- perfect. Thanks for the video.

This is so true. During the week I'm raw till dinner and feel great physically and mentally, my body temp is cooler, but when I eat bad, I'm uncomfortable and hot. I can actually feel my body trying to process those bad foods. For me it's the late-night snacking and weekends and I want to treat myself with bad food thinking, that I can't seem to get past.

Look into some recipes that may be similar to a special snack food . I got creative with nice cream . I cut veggie and dip into nice savory raw vegan dressing . Even raw crackers made with veg in dehydrator with the raw dip . Maybe a local raw vegan restaurant has options for when you want a healthy treat

The spiritual connection is the most noticeable change I've experienced. Before going raw I didn't have this connection, especially since I was avoiding fruit at all costs because of my GI doctor and other advice on reversing SIBO. Ironically, eating no fat and eating more raw fruits and veg healed my SIBO. But yeah, the connection to God is there where it wasn't before.

I listen to your channel because of the positiveness and high vibration of the guests! The men are so handsome and their faces are super clear and bright! I often wondered, with exception of a few of your male guests that have girlfriends and wives, how their sexual desire has changed? Do they feel as lustful as before or do they feel in control maybe to the point of not really feeling a great need for a woman due to their spiritual connection to God or the universe?! Inquiring minds want to know!😂 I know for me as a woman, I have a healthy desire for sex so the more healthy I become because I'm eating clean, I maybe a maniac!😂 ( well not that bad but in a healthy way!😉) Great video!😍

I love this comment. Yes, lets talk more abt this w yr interviewees, pls. Maybe as a woman we feel like we’re not ‘supposed’ to talk about this (?) but I think sex is beautiful! And I definitely feel much more drive and energy, interest, and more sexy eating raw natural foods. A lot of that is mindset and self-love, which is easy and flowing on nature‘s foods. And it’s some reason easier to get negative and self critical when you veer off that. Feels almost biochemical which way our thoughts form.

Jillian I just discovered your channel not too long ago. I am a vegan for the animals but I almost have no energy most of the time even though I teach Yoga there’s a lot behind that I’ve been like this since I was a child due to a lot of abuse and there’s still a lot of ongoing horrible things but I was given a lot of sugar as a child to shut me up & starchy sweets which are hard for me to break away from I’ve been eating a lot of maple syrup and I’m getting off of wheat I’ve been through menopause so I have that ooey- gooey belly which I didn’t have after having four children when I was in my 20s I bought a very expensive juicer a few years ago and I sent it back because I just didn’t like all the waste and I didn’t have any place to compost the fiber and skin, I prefer to just do smoothies and salads, I’m little by little getting over my cravings for chocolate and starchy sweets but I’m not completely raw and every time I eat anything that’s cooked I feel really sleepy. I was diagnosed with MS but I’m not even sure if that’s the reason for some of my symptoms because I’ve been like this throughout my life not as sleepy though I’m sure my hormonal drop has contributed to that too. I would like it if you would show how to eat in cold climates as I am going to be moving back to Maine. I’m learning so much from your channel You are helping me and so many, Thank you for your compassion and beauty 🙏🌈💚🌱🌍🌞

Great interview, very positive content. One thing that I think is suboptimal: 10 bananas for breakfast? Eating too much causes inefficiencies that actually make you require more food. 1400 calories of just raw juicy fruit and lettuce is my maintenance calorie intake at 160lbs 5'11" (72kg 189cm). Also skipping breakfast. Typical day for me is 700cals watermelon for lunch 700 cals papaya or salad (lettuce, tomato, red bell pepper, one avocado) for dinner. That's it. No change when exercising, other than maybe 100-200 calories extra if I feel like it. Sticking to a 6:18 feeding window also helps with efficiency.

To view donuts as non foods, YES, this does it for me. Because in my past, after gorging on donuts cakes cookies, I’d feel incredibly non-human, not myself, someone and something else. It was awful. Him saying he doesn’t even see those things as foods went really far for me. So true though. Those things transform everything about you, and slowly destroy you. While fruits and raw foods do the opposite. 🌟

@@GillianBerry Thanks for the response! I just always wonder if you can really build your gut back up after wiping out many bacterial species in your microbiota. I always wonder when I see long term raw vegans if all they did was transition from a SAD diet, or if they also did lots of antibiotics in their life as well. I tend to wonder if that is why some just can't seem to make the full transition or not. I have been trying for a few years now since taking 13 months of antibiotics for Lyme Disease several years ago.

When I'm low, fairly soon i have weird symptoms ..like tingly legs ...feet...or painful cracked corners of the mouth. ..And supplementing b vitamins or b12 really helps. Although I do have celiac so I wonder if that's why I notice it sooner.

oh wow interesting!!!! yeah from what I hear amongst those I interview who become deficient - the main symptoms seem to be mood issues! for instance Chris Kendall said he was smashing his computer when his B12 was low LOL........when mine was 92 I had just moved across the world, come back and got divorced LOL so anyone regardless of diet or deficiences would be stressed so not sure how it affected me but now it's high 500's!!!! I had celiac!!!!! before going raw! people used to tell it was a gut problem and I blew them off.....then a couple years of being raw it was gone i realized after having a cheat day a vegan flat bread pizza that was gluten! prior to that...i would be in bed for 5 days vomiting and d!
