Hi, my name is Callie and I'm a certified Pilates and Barre instructor and certified holistic health coach. As a former competitive figure skater who struggled with body image and chronic injuries, I fell in love with low-impact “flow” type workouts, like Pilates and barre. My pet peeve about workouts has always been how out of shape I feel the whole time I’m doing them, but this was so calm and easy while still feeling like I got a nice little workout was so awesome. Loved it!

Same! I always struggle with trying beginners stuff because it is always so intense and this was great and just... Met me where I am and didn't make it about position but rather about engagement. Loved it so much.

Right!!! They put easy in the title but it's not at all. They rush through it and do higher level stretches and workouts

I'm 5 months late but I'm really happy that I came across this video. I couldn't agree more. Some beginner video just makes you feel much more heavy and more conscious of your weight. This video is easy to follow and makes you feel better about yourself.
i have never felt so much self-love in a workout before :) always feel insecure working out even though i love pilates and this was so wonderful

I used to be incredibly athletic, but the past few years I’ve dealt with depression and chronic illness. Every time I try to exercise it either invokes symptoms or makes me feel like crap. I found this channel and I am so grateful, this is the first workout that I can do while feeling mentally and physically strong enough to do it. Thank you Callie, we love you!!

Mood cause my anorexia destroyed my health and I had to stop exercising for a long time
actually cried throughout the affirmation parts. you said "say one thing you love about yourself" and i couldn’t think of anything. i really hope to change soon, ty for making this- im going to do everyday now

@@Gabby-iy6ir exactly. i didnt like anything about myself, but the thing i hated least were my natural freckles and my eyes. so thats what id compliment abt myself. and then the moles on my body (which used to be a massive insecurity but my boyfriend has helped a lot.) and then my skin colour, and then now im slowly learning to love little things about myself.

Callie, I've been severely overweight my entire life due to an autoimmune and very low mobility. I haven't exercised in years & felt so bad about myself. I bought a mat and jumped into this today and just wanted to thank you. It wasn't super easy but it wasn't so hard that I gave up and your words at the end with the self hug made me tear up. Thank you for making me feel like I can do this and maybe have a normal life again eventually.

you are literally the sweetest, I love the affirmations. I feel like some Pilates instructors are very negative because they expect you to be at the point they’re at, but you’re completely different and I love that about you. Deffo my new favourite Pilates channel ❤️❤️

A beginner workout that is actually a beginner workout that didnt make me feel horrible about myself. Alot say their beginner but if your out of shape for whatever reason it can be so hard to follow along. This was amazing. Love the affirmations, the flow and style and general encouragement. Will definitely do this again. I hope you have other videos like this too.
This was my first work-out after not feeling great about myself and not working out for a bit, in the end when you say to be proud for showing up made me a little emotional. Thank you Callie!!

I absolutely LOVE how you give form advice in these workouts. A lot of fitnesstubers don't tell you where you should be actually FEELING a movement, or they use anatomical names that are confusing to beginners. brava!
the positive affirmations throughout this made me feel so confident! I am not doing this to change my body, i have just felt kind of unmotivated so I decided to give this a try and the affirmations and kind words really helped alot, the vibes were so positive and amazing and i cannot wait to do this again tomorrow!

this workout for me in one word was "ICONIC"✨✨ and "SLAY"✨✨ (two words because my sister and i did it together!!)
I know this video is a year old, but I still wanted to say thank you. For almost 2 whole years I couldn’t do any kinds of workouts, nothing from the stuff I usually did, I couldn’t even take a short walk. It was so bad that all I was able to do was walk through my apartment only if it was needed for the bathroom or food/water. Even in the shower I needed to sit down. Duo those horrific health conditions I’ve went through (and sometimes still struggle with) I’ve lost a lot of muscle mass and flexibility. Not to mention how fast I’m out of breath.. Since I’ve finally began to get into a better condition, I’ve been trying to work on that again. I noticed not only physically but also mentally my body needs the movement again! So I’ve tried out a couple of things, but everything was too fast, too hard, too harsh, I could simply never catch up and it was never fun. But this video is so gentle and beginner friendly, it’s such a great pace, and the little affirmations in between are so sweet and so kind. This time I was actually finally able to enjoy it! And it wasn’t too hard for me to catch up

This workout killed me! I was suffering from depression and started to workout ever since cardio is my thing and I felt strong but when I tried this it provided pain to every tissue of my body but I is really great workout and helps in flexibility and it moves your body
I've been scared to try pilates because everyone I see doing it is super thin, but the affirmations made this super fun!! The perfect level for me :)
i've been dealing with symptoms of eating disorder leading me to starve and be never active. I lost a lot of muscle weight and I suffer from anemia : every "beginner" workout is way to difficult to me, I can't manage to do the exercise in the good way... I want my body to build back its strenght, and it's literally the first video I was able to do without problem. in addition the stretches at the end makes me feel so good afterwards !! it's way to soft to magically bring my body strenght back but doing this in the morning to prepare for a day is a breathe of fresh air ! thank you so much for this !!

I cannot believe I actually finished a Workout 🎉🎉🎉🎉 (Edit- A year later) I use to do these daily from April to June but stopped for some reason. It’s a year later and May 2024 and I’m on a ballet strength and flexibility journey, you are my go to Pilates teacher!!!!
