So far I'm lovin my 2021 Gladiator! Steering definitely isn't the best lol. I've had a couple JK's before and it was similar as far as I can remember. I just got rid of my VW alltrack and that was a driver's car for sure. But I knew the Jeep would be a change of pace. I ended up going with a Willy's addition manual transmission. So far no complaints.

Dang i applaud you for keeping your JT, I'd be on the fence if I had that many issues. I'm on month 7 and my JT is over 10k. The only issue so far I've had is the input shaft seal for the transfer case sprung a leak. Here in TX i paid 49k for my JT Rubicon pretty much loaded minus all the "safety " add ons. Leather, 8.4 info, heated seats and steering wheel, alpine system, LED headlamps, aftermarket it's on the mopar 2", 37 km3 ,mopar steel bumper with KC lighting..Good info on the video, cheers from TX.

Second owner of my JLU 2018, bought at 15k. Three trips to the dealer, one for brake fluid leaking bushing needed replace, second was for alternate battery replace and last trip was steering box replace. Made a big difference after the steel box. Now I’m at 35k and seems to be doing just fine. Every now and then the radio acts up but I just restart the Jeep and it’s back to normal. I hope nothing big happens in the future because I enjoy my Jeep a lot, first time owner

I went to a FCA dealer 15 times in 2.5 years with my modded JLU for failed clutch that was replaced by TSB, failed batteries, stabilizer tsb, door sensor failure, radio issues, steering issues, steeeing box, popping ball joints, popping driver door that was replaced, leaking door seals that were replaced, 6 quarts of oil added by dealer and also went to an offroad axle shop for awful death wobble that ended up being bad ball joints at 27k miles. I learned there's more important things in life than wasting a bunch of a time and $ on a "cool jeep". I had spent countless hours modding it very similar to yours and finally was sick of it. I sold it and found a much less frustrating/expensive hobby. I recommend selling it, unless you have nothing else better to do or your jeep makes up an important part of your identity. FCA quality and service are bottom of the barrel. It's amazing how many issues jeepers are willing to accept. The bronco will be great for consumers if it forces Stellantis to improve Jeep. 8 trips to the dealer + leaking seals is absurd in the 1st year. Hope it improves..

I think your comment has convinced me not to order a Jeep. No disrespect to Jeepers, but it’s an expensive piece of gear and visiting the dealership on a regular basis...that’s insane if you ask me. Thanks for this. While I appreciate that you have a great relationship with your service manager, the fact that you know him so well suggests, in part, that Jeep Gladiators and Wranglers have some serious issues, IMO. I think I don’t want to know my service manager, frankly. A couple questions as I debate ordering a 2021 Wrangler Sport Unlimited or a Gladiator Sport. 1. Does anyone know if the steering issue you describe exists in the 2021 Gladiator or Wrangler? Has Jeep fixed this? 2. Quality and issue wise, is a Wrangler a better rig than a Gladiator? The more I read and watch videos,, I have serious doubts about both. Thanks for your great vids and your service. Thanks brother. I have been flying for 13 years. I worked directly with CA C130s on many exercises over the years. I know St Johns Newfoundland very well! 1. The 2021 has the steel box like I have in my TSB , its way better. I would say its fixed, but you can do better with a synergy brace. Check my videos for that install. 2. Quality wise, they have not been doing great but they have never left me stranded and with all the new tech on cars today, it just allows more room for errors, breakdowns, and quality control problems.

My first Jeep as well, as far as buying brand new. As for the gas gladiator, I felt confident buying it as the whole drivetrain isn’t really new, it’s been in the wrangler since 2018. And the engine since 2012. I’ve had good luck, knock on wood, and I’m at 15k miles, bought mines in November 2019, so going on year and half now. Havnt been to dealer for anything besides oil change. Mine rocks side to side a bit too, but not enough to really complain too much, and been to dealer for the new steering box but they keep giving me the run around so that’s not taken cared yet. I say if going for a gas gladiator, go for it. They’re pretty solid. Mines a JTRubi gas 3.6, 8 speed.
