    When I worked as a nurse, I never met one doctor who spoke about "getting to the root cause" of any health problem. Each time Dr. Ekberg uploads another of his incredible videos, I'm thankful and honored to have discovered what an incredible man and human being he is. His desire and dedication in helping us understand the underlying causes of pathologies and how to help heal our bodies is a blessing to us all I am forever thankful to him for doing so.

    Thanks doc. I've had toe nail fungus for probably forty years now, but with my T2 diabetes and obesity, toe nail fungus totally fell off my radar as far as things to fix. A couple of years ago, following your teachings, I totally eliminated sugar and high glycemic carbs from my diet, started fasting and exercising. I gave up Metformin and glimepiride and my A1c came down from 12.5 to 5.5, and lost about forty pounds. And now that you've put this video out, I just now looked at my toes, and SURPRISE, my toenails look much better than they have in many years. Autophagy is a true miracle! I simply cannot thank you enough!! If it were up to me, you'd be sitting on a Nobel Peace Prize.

    My husband has had toenail fungus for as long as I've known him. His toenails looked like they belonged to the creature from the black lagoon. He never wore sandals. His big toenails were raised up off the nailbed and were so thick he had to use a special side cut type of trimmer to trim them. Christmas eve day, he told me he didn't sleep because his toes hurt. There was a red ring around each nail where the fungus was trying to get into the rest of his system. I had tried every product on the market for him. Tea Tree couldn't knock it back. I finally watched an infomercial where the presenter claimed to have found the cure. She even told you the essential oils that she used in her product. The problem is, they diluted the essential oils to the point that they didn't work. (according to Amazon reviews) So I ordered the four essential oils and combined them in a dropper bottle. So, from mid-January until the end of March he has been putting these drops on his toes daily before he puts his socks on. His toes are NORMAL! Now, the four essential oils are Clove bud oil, Manuka oil, flaxseed oil, and lavender oil. We are very happy with the results.

    Hello! I couldn’t believe it when I read your comment because I just watched a video (that popped up in my I pad) of this EXACT product! It was called Kerassential. The doctor explained the effect of these four oils…all the same ones you mentioned. However, she also said the amounts in the formula had to be so precise (which made sense) that we should ONLY but from the company website and not Amazon. I was tempted but reluctant to buy, so I did some research and found MANY complaints on the BBB website. I’m glad it worked for your husband! It just leaves me so on the fence to know what to do. 🥺

The fungus can't develop immunity to all of the different oil. His toenails have been clear for a couple of months now, but he still applies the oils. I guess he can't believe that it won't come back. We're going sandal shopping today for him.

    1. Lower blood sugar levels - fasting, low carb or carnivore diet. Muscle building exercises ( anaerobic ). 2. Keep toe nails short, trim the edge. 3. Brush Clean under the tip - use a brush. 4. Dry your nails with a towel or paper tissue or blow dry - get rid of the moisture. 5. Try to get the toenails exposed to sunlight - or use a solar lamp for a few hours for UV light. 6. Walk barefoot for a few hours. 7. Circulation - aerobic exercise from say 60bpm to 120bpm ( just as an example ) - for say 20 minutes - notice how the extremities get a blood flow ( including your gums ) 8. Breathing exercises and meditation - often ignored by most people. Need to understand that the autonomic system allocates growth and repair resources as needed. The sympathetic system responds to stress and the parasympathetic nervous system relaxation - feed, breathe portion. These two operate in opposite times - when one increases the other decreases. Parasympathetic is responsible for digestion, immune system, growing new tissue, procreation, DNA repair - long term survival, parasympathetic - immediate survival. Parasympathetic - is more important longterm - so when you're doing breathing and meditation - you're activating relaxation and repair and blood flow. *So the parasympathetic dilates the blood flow to the peripheries - and gets the immune system going to fight your fungus.* 9. The other things to do = soaking feet in epson salts, apple cider vinegar etc. e.g. tea tree oil, oregano oil, homeopathics, pills, liquids - ingestion or topical or both. 10. Surgery and meds. 11. Medication - lamisil - start topically as a cream. Absolute last resort taking it into the body. Just avoid it. Damages the liver.

  • @johntrench

    @johntrench

    Ай бұрын

    The incidence of any serious liver damage using terbinafine hydrochloride 250 mg, the generic for Lamisil, depends upon literature in patient conditions, between one in fifty thousand and one in two hundred and fifty thousand patients. The incidence of liver complications is very low, and we monitor patients closely to keep them safe while effectively treating their condition. This sort of disinformation concerning the safety and efficacy of medications is dangerous and irresponsible.

    Spot on! One time I had a rash on my scalp and went to a dermatologist who prescribed a powerful, disturbing steroid lotion, which I declined. Instead I started looking at cause and realized it was that I’d started wearing wool hats in the winter time. I stopped wearing them and the rash went away. Allopathic medicine says got a symptom, take a medication, rather than addressing root causes. So grateful for Dr. Sten’s videos.

  • @Trikevion

    @Trikevion

    Жыл бұрын

    What a coincidence, didn’t think I would find a so relatable comment here! How long did it take for the rash on your scalp to be fully gone? My scalp has been hitching like crazy since the start of winter this year and my eyes were itchy as well, I blamed the dry cold air causing this. But the cold weather was also when I started wearing my merino wool beanie and supplementing with Vitamin D3. Didn’t think much about it. Further into winter, I bought myself a very nice base layer long sleeve shirt made of merino wool. A month later I now have theses rashes on my forearm. That’s when I started investigating what was going on! It’s can’t be the dry air for my arm.. it literally never happened before. So I did a couple research and discovered that wool contains a type of grease called Lanolin AND vitamin D3 is made from Lanolin. Wait am I allergic to this? I now stopped wearing my wool and taking D3. I think it’s getting better. I’ll see if everything goes back to normal soon. I have only stopped this for like 5 days now.

    Garlic taped to the nails for 2 days twice a week. Plus use olive oil and garlic and rub on affected area. My husband's legs swelled up so much that he couldn't get shoes or his cowboy boots on. He went to 2 vascular surgeons and they had no idea what was going on and one even looked into his leg veins and could NOT find anything wrong. They didn't even consider his horrible toenail fungus had spread up his legs to his knees. I started giving him my remedies and in a few months his legs were almost down to normal size. Garlic IS the cure. Along with cutting down your intake of sugar.

    @@snowyowl6892 Count me in! I did a 4o day water only fast, for spiritual reasons... some decades ago! It was miraculous, and hard to convey. After five days, I was no longer hungry at all, and after two weeks, I was mentally flying like a rocket. Clarity to the extreme, feeling powerful and completely happy inside and out.... it was a true journey into my inner world. Did not lose much weight, actually... I am normal and strong/healthy all the time! People should not do this as a beginner. It is recommended to start with 3, then 7, then 21, then 40 days. Not all in a row, mind you, lol.... put some break time between these. I'd say the first two can be done within a 3 month window, after that, maybe 6 more months for the 21 day, then a year before going for the 40 days. We need to "digest" the experience not just physically, but also mentally and spiritually. Consider it a quest. (Of our own inner Holy Grail???)

    @@velvetpaws999 Your post could have been mine, almost to the letter. Successive shorter fasts culminating in a 7 day which just kept extending and extending. Did it on the strength of a bit of internet research. Funny thing … I hardly drank any water … walked every day (worked for the first 3 weeks) … my body seemed to become a closed system, perfectly easy about the experience. it did not seem to be a big deal. I lost no weight either .. but my eyes returned to a brighter blue . I am sure that you could cure cancer (even late stage) with this simple protocol. needless to say, I had to run the gauntlet of a horrified doctor … but she could find nothing to panic about; so just decided I was a bit soft in the head. It certainly was confirmation that our body and all its individual cells and systems have their own intelligence and consciousness. My body was just delighted that I stopped shoving endless quantities of food into it - so it could finally focus on clearing out the rubbish. So glad you posted 🤗 Blessings 💖

I’ve been on and off a 5/2 IF since then, 2MAD when not fasting, and quit bread and most sugars (I love bread and beer - was able to give up bread completely). I also try to walk a little over three miles a day (that’s how far the road goes). Last week I went to get a reflex (foot) massage with my wife. The foot massagers thought I was 59, and were shocked when my told them I was 77. Good genes and a great doctor! I love that the great doctor does not simplify the chemistry, the hormonal, and holistic interactions between the different parts of the body. I walk away feeling like I just left a Masters seminar. Both doctors also recommend cutting out processed foods, sugar, and carb generally speaking. You really should watch Dr. Ekberg’s videos though, as he explains in a no nonsense way without a lot of the usual background clutter other vloggers add just to make their videos longer. Dr. Ekberg really pinpoints how different substances (not just food) affect each of the relevant body processes.

There is also an addiction problem: 🚬,🍻, sugar and other drugs. Addicts simply have a wrong mind setting, and for sure they haven't understood the concept of receptor downregulation. I had toenail fungus that was very difficult to get rid of. So I tried a variety of things this past summer. Keeping toenails trimmed and clean is very important. getting out in the summer sun for at least 30 minutes is very helpful and wearing sandles as much as possible too. I tried tea tree oil to start. But that didn't get rid of it. Next I tried alternating between using the medical grade Povidone iodine all over and between my toes and even under the nails letting it dry. Then I washed them down with hydrogen peroxide. These two antiseptics killed any possible pathogen on my toes and nails. Then I washed and rinsed my feet with soap and warm water to remove the iodine stains. The next day I took a Q tip soaked in bleach to rub on the dark nails. Doing this several times eventually lightened the nail to make it look more natural. I repeated this routine a week later giving the nails time to recover from the first treatment. Now the nails look pretty normal all with topical cheap treatments with no medications and no side effects!👍

It's effects on body are amazing. As a Muslim I've all my life fasted 30 days a year and knew its spiritual value. Lately after listening to you Good people I read the reasons to fasting other than spiritual and turned out that all you say is in consonance with what I read in the scriptures. In fact alongside fasting there's a recommendation to eat less that needed; 2/3rd actually of the need. It'll keep the body healthy with minimum ailments.

    For years I had toenail fungus and walking became painful. Went to a doctor and he prescribed Lamisil. The toe fungus took a while, but my dandruff was immediately GONE. Also everything living on my skin, beneficial or not, gone. I imagine this was going on inside my body too. But the psychological effects were very strange. There was "me", then there was a second or an extension of "me" off to the left about 8" and that feeling kept increasing. Finally, I stopped taking the medicine a 2 weeks early because I felt I was losing touch with reality. After stopping, I found I had to carefully monitor the re-population of my skin with the various bacteria, etc. Some were benign, some were malevolent. The toe fungus was gone and never returned. I also managed to keep dandruff away. This was all about 25 years ago.

    In addition to Dr. Ekberg's amazing knowledge share, I'd like to add that I clean my nail clippers with isopropyl alcohol after clipping an infected nail. Just dip a q-tip in alcohol and wipe the clippers before using on another nail. I also put a drop or two of tea trea oil under the infected nail, every day after I brushed my teeth, made it part of my morning routine. I also had peridontal disease and had to really clean up my oral care by flossing twice a day, water flossing, brushing and salt water rinses. I also stopped eating processed sugar and products. Like Dr. Ekberg said, persistence is the key. It took about a year for my infected nails to regrow and clear with my regimen.

    My pinky toenails have had fungus for most of my life, but I was living in the sympathetic. The last 2 years I’ve purposefully put myself into the parasympathetic and am getting healthier. Down almost 20 lbs now, and have recently found that eating Ketovore/carnivore is the only way I’m going to get my weight down. So grateful to have found the cure for my weight loss stall. ❤ your channel Dr. Ekberg! :)

    Yes! I use to brush my toenails pretty frequently with my pedicures. I’ve since stopped and noticed one of my big toenail grew a fungus for the first time ever in my life. Thankfully it’s healing. I’m back to brushing my toenails with a brush, using tea tree oil on my toes at night before bed, will start keeping my toe nails cut shorter, and have been more conscious to cut down my sugar intake. All of this Sugar in majority of the food that we eat is the worst! Just so bad for our bodies as a whole. 👣❤️‍🩹

    For toenail fungus use 1 gallon of the warmest water you can handle one cup of baking soda...soak your feet in it for 15 minutes to 20 minutes then pour in a half a cup of apple cider vinegar soak for another 20 minutes take your feet out scoop some of the baking soda out of the water at the bottom of whatever you're soaking your feet in put it on the fungus do not dry your feet put on a pair of clean white socks repeat the same thing the next day by the third day it should be gone... Be sure and cut your toenail back before you start. Oh when you add the vinegar it's going to foam up like crazy so be sure and have four to six inches at least at the top of your soaking pan so it doesn't fizz over.

    The number 1 best thing to do to get rid of fungus on your feet is put your feet in hot water and pour in some bleach. Not too much, maybe a quarter of a cup and soak your feet for 10 yo 15 minutes followed by scrubbing them. Dry them off and presto most the foot fungus is gone. There's probably still some lurking in your nails where water can't get too. Keep your feet clean and it will clear up. My feet used to reek until I tried this, I came up with this idea on my own but discovered people used to do this years ago. Do not soak too long or the bleach will start burning your skin, use a small amount no more than about a quarter cup and no longer than 15 minutes and rinse after washing. I found out the hard way how effective bleach is 😆

I usually select 1.25, but Dr. Sten speaks so clearly I can understand him perfectly at 1.5. it might take a few times to get used to doing this, but after several videos you will be wondering why you would watch a video at regular speed again. P.S. this doesn't work very well with relaxation videos! Lol!

    I went to the doctor when I first noticed toenail fungus. He put me on the oral Lamisil (Terbinafine) pills. I was supposed to take them for 12 weeks. I only lasted a week because of the side effects. Having headaches, fatigue, stomach upset and gas all the time plus the possibility of liver damage was not worth it. You should not have to take a medication that is harsh on your body to fix toenails. I'm going to following Dr. Ekberg's advice and see how it goes.

    READ THIS: i had it for years and it got really bad… the whole toe bed! i got an Rx brush on… but had little luck… the nail was too thick and the meds couldn’t penetrate deeply enough… i considered surgical removal but didn’t like the idea because the procedure is basically tearing it off with anesthesia… then it occurred to me that i filed my fingernails all the time… and maybe i could take an very fine grain emory board and just gently file it all away! PRESTO! it was so easy and pain free… and if you do it yourself you know exactly when to stop filing and not hurt yourself… in less that 5 minutes the whole toenail was off and everything was clean and the thick gross toenail was gone (obviously don’t keep filing until you bleed… the nail will be gone way before you get close to doing that and before it hurts… and its why you should use a fine grain nail file) it was 100% pain free! apply Rx or oil of your choice for a few weeks or until the nail has regrown… it worked perfectly!! and now since i eat perfectly like the good doctor recommends… all my toes are beautiful… i never have problems! good luck!!

    WOW! I have been reading on the web and watching videos ref toenail fungus FOR A MONTH and this is the best and in a class above all the others. Most articles and videos address one thing or the other and that can be good, but after a while I started asking how should I address my problem. So I ordered some epsom, and tea tree oil and got it yesterday. I already use ketaconazole by prescription but I believe that doing everything possible and not just waiting 11 months for it to work and grow a nail, maybe. It was a real slap in the face WAKE UP, SUGAR! STRESS! I knew better, but I like having a dessert. BUT I DONT NEED IT and it is apparently not doing me any good. Thanks for the reminder and emphasis Doctor Ekberg! SO I worked my way through the video taking notes, going back over and over certain sections so I understood fairly well. THEN I clicked above on the ...more AND PAGED DOWN and clicked on transcript! THEN I figured out how to copy the transcript and put everything in one doc becuse I know I will want to refer back since my memory is challenged.
