So I won't say that it is good at all in the least bit but I think y'all are a little over critical of it because you're watching the Japanese version with subtitles. I just watched the main buu saga dub with Japanese subtitles to see how different the original was and from what I can tell it made the world of difference. The English dub corrected a lot of what they were going for. So when people say the baby arc was when the show picked up you're watching a completely different version of it and having an unfair bias of what most of us in America grew up watching. On a side note you guys left out Goku perfecting Hercules dumbass delayed megaton punch with his Kamehameha

I'll give baby arc this. I love how Bulma gets to be a majoy player in the show again. Shes out here showing the absolute power couple we could have had with Vegeta and baby. Brains and brawns. She is what a non fighter support character should be.

i forgot about the holy water... HOW OLD KAI KNOWS ABOUT THAT? and WHY WORKS ON A MECHANICAL PARASITE? i... is baby a vampire? he could die directly with that? i also super agree on the earth part, as a kid, i was "what? a blast vegeta declared to destroy earth early Z now doesn't do shit? with power similar to ssj4?" now thinking about it, feels like a filler, it did literal nothing to the plot, earth will explode anyways so why not now? could've given goku a boost of rage, instead he failed TWO TIMES to try a beam struggle? yeah, being a nice arc and the final form boss of it, this is sure a weak fight

The core problem with Dragon Ball GT is it doesn't have enough time machines in it. As a matter of fact, the lack of time machines was the fundamental mistake that Akira Toriyama made during almost the entire run of Dragon Ball.

I remember watching GT when it first aired in the UK after DBZ ended and it just felt...meh. I also remmeber some of my friends being hyped about Baby and again I just felt "He's not as good a villain as Frieza or Cell and the fights aren't as good." Of all DBGT, I only remember originally liking the Goku vs S17 fight (just the fight itself, not the arc) but that's about it (the rest of the show, including the dragons, I thought was boring), and I'm honestly wondering how well that holds up.

Dunno if anime only but didnt Kibito question if he could restore Gohan’s actual strength in Z? I feel it was kind of established. For some reason Dende doesnt have that limit whereas Kai’s seem to be uncertain on what they can do.

I won't lie, at this point I watch these mostly for the Lani ads at the start. And I was not disappointed. Side-note: more than the underwear moddling, I am mainly smitten by how on point Lani's beard-scape is in this one.
