Martin really is an understated genius. He is the godfather of an entire genre of animated comedy that has had an underspoken affect on the modern world.

The pause between Krillin getting punched and the loud "FUCK" makes it feel like the hit was so strong that it took a second for his body to recognize it. Which honestly makes it even funnier.

I knew this for quite awhile. I just discovered trash taste in around 2020 and have been on the internet for longer. So it meant that a lot of old stuff you and me probably saw had Connor in it. It’s honestly been such a fun Easter egg hunt of rewatching some old video going “hey that looks/sounds like-“ and then checking the credits and he’s there. He’s always in way more stuff than you’d think he is. Having them all shout, "LEARN!" repeatedly make me laugh so hard.

Lani's "fuck" is honestly one of the best line deliveries in the entire series

Low key, the Taka drinking gag always sat kind of uncomfortably with me because of his recovery, so hearing that he was in on the joke and there were no hard feelings really warms my heart. I should have known you guys wouldn't do anything like that without talking it through with him, and learning that he insisted on the joke makes it retroactively funnier.

If I remember right, the reasons there is a challenge here, besides Garlic Jr's immortality, Kami spends most of the fight being near death, which weakened Piccolo so he couldn't step up and by the time Kami recovers, Piccolo has taken too much damage

I love seeing Taka have such a good time.

I love that they bring back Garlic Jr. the same way JJ Abrams brought back Palpatine. "Somehow, it happened."

With these eps like 2.9 I think a lot of the enjoyment comes from how much fun you all were obviously having in scripting and acting it out. Especially with how long some of the waits were, seeing you guys just be able to have fun was nice.

15:45 you should have done a cutaway slap like with Nail slapping Krillin or Frieza barfing on Krillin. I always find it funnier if a hit cuts to another scene juuuuust before contact because you have to imagine it yourself (and the implication that it's so violent you can't show it on screen, but can absolutely make fun of it)

Also, "Plan to Eradicate Christmas" Commentary? Perfect time for that.

This might be my favorite episode for comedy. It's like The best parts of season two, with the wit of season 3, and the absolute randomness of season one.

Easily one of my favorite things you guys ever did, seriously this is like in Top 5, unless each of the Episode 60 parts counts as its own thing.

I absolutely _love_ this one. Just flat-out hilarious from start to finish. Thank you guys for this. And after re-listening closely to MasakoX's reading of _"I now have a taste for blood!!!"_ ... good God, did he seriously nail that. That sound of raw viciousness in Gohan's voice is genuinely blood-chilling. The more attention I pay to Lawrence's acting, the more impressed I get.

I think what’s so great about this episode, and Kai Abridged in general, is that everyone can just cut loose and just have fun. And for all that Dragon Ball can be really memorable and impactful, occasionally it’s as dumb as bricks, makes no sense at all and is just plain weird. And that’s part of what we love about it, so for TFS to indulge that side of Dragon Ball is great, and like Taka, this is a video I pull up when I just need a silly giggle.

Lani's expression with the "coke" goes everywhere cracks me up every time.

I think it's weird that Turles' minions appear in more games than the spice boys.

I remember how confused and unsettled I was at seeing the creators of a jokey KZread thing actually show their faces back then. It felt like an internet taboo being broken.

These are the type of Surfshark Ads I've come to expect from channels like Tomska. Love it.
