  Hi Charline, your videos are quite insprational and imotional at the same time. I am from West Africa but rather unfortunate have no oppotunity to travel through or even to know what exactly is West Africa. Most of the leaders have succeeded in making the routes inaccessible due to political instability in many of this countries. I have also a Toyota Hilux and wish to take such an adventure, would you be able to give me some tipps as how to upgrade my vehicle for the West African adventure?

  do u feel confident being outside the vehicle at night or is there some degree of trepidation ?? you are very inspiring and am visiting Africa next year as my first overseas adventure. late to the game but better late than never.

  Thank you so much! Regarding being outside at night it really depends on where you are…but if you’re in or around a game park just be very careful with predators. Better to stay alert and to get into the tent asap. All the best! And it’s never too late ☺️

  As a boy I went to live in Entebbe, with my parents and sister, my father was operating the Cartographic college to teach land surveying to the locals. It was a wonderful experience and it is especially interesting to me to see the good developments happening in what was my home for a few years while I was growing up. I really enjoy seeing your videos.
