    I've been drinking Vanilla PB with almond vanilla milk (unsweetened) and frozen banana and blueberries from whole foods. I stole the recipe from juice generation. Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! 3 years straight now. Want to try another flavor but I think they won't mix well with what i want to mix it with.

    I never understood the protein per gram scoop ratio issue. The more the ratio, the worse the taste. You’re still getting the same amount of protein as others.. assuming it’s not spiked, 25 grams is 25 grams. Regardless of the scoop size

    LOVE my Ghost whey protein! I work out hard 4-5 days per week (both running and lifting) and I will frequently use this as a meal replacement or even as a pre or post workout. I love how versatile it is. Whenever I get a craving for something sweet, but don't want to consume garbage, I will have this, and it really hits the spot and satisfies my cravings. I will mix it with either oat milk, almond milk, or skim milk. It's just like a milkshake that way. I currently have the Oreo one and I'll be ordering Chips Ahoy next.

    C4 is fine if you just want something cheap with L-Arginine, caffeine, and taurine 👨🏻‍🔬 if you really want pump, vascularity, mental focus, whatever then yeah there’s much better. C4 mixing caffeine and creatine is also debatable-as is creatine in a preworkout anyways…. 👨🏻‍⚕️ but if you just want cheap energy, it delivers as intended

    @@feast_good well I actually am now the lead of the line where we bottle the powder as of this week. We were outsourcing a bunch of those products and we are getting more of it back in house. We are getting new COO and some other stuff yeah. Probably anything else is getting into trade secret territory haha. But it’s good place to work and as you point out our products are very high quality (if a little pricey at times)

  • @feast_good

    @@robertfaulkner1824 I like hearing about the in-sourcing. I know of some other companies moving in that direction to keep tighter controls on quality assurance. But you're right, that sort of thing leads to higher cost for the consumer, and most people don't understand that.

    @@feast_good our outsourcing was mostly temporary because we had been expanding our operating hours and our production facility over the last year or so. Optimum Nutrition Hydro Whey? (Current Whey used). Transparent Labs on deck.

  • @feast_good
    @feast_good14 сағат бұрын

    Haven't tried it. Someone else asked about it though and I put a detailed response, so I'll just copy it below. Let me know how you like Transparent Labs once you've tried it (genuinely curious). "I've never tried ON Platinum Hydrowhey, so I can't really speak to it. However, I just quickly looked at the ingredient label. It has a lot of fillers/thickeners. Some people don't care about that, I do though (soy lecithin, sunflower oil, guar gum, etc.). It also has added maltodextrin, which is unnecessary. No need to put additional carbs in a protein powder. It has a BCAA blend, which is probably just marketing. You don't really need that sort of thing in your protein powder. If you eat enough protein per day, even when supplementing, you'll get enough BCAAs. I'm not super enthused to try it based on those things".

  • @CrashLarue
    @CrashLarue13 сағат бұрын

    @@feast_good I got the hydrowhey because I saw something about better delivery. Just seeing the fillers now, abd have been looking to get away from all those dextrins. Just recently stumbled onto the TL whey and happy to see the lack of fillers and 80% whey concentration as opposed to 75% of ON Hydro. Happy to make the change soon. Hope they make a hydro version at some point. What are your thoughts on the hydrolyzed versions of whey? Not super familiar honestly.

  • @feast_good
    @feast_good12 сағат бұрын

    @@CrashLarue It's just a more processed type of whey protein that is faster digesting, but honestly, I think it's just marketing. Whether you have isolate or hydro you'll get the protein delivery just fine post workout.

  • @feast_good
    @feast_good14 сағат бұрын

    I haven't tried it, so didn't want to include anything I haven't used personally. Just looked at the website though and seems like an okay product. The added digestive enzymes are a nice touch. There are 3 thickeners (gums) that they add to enhance the mouthfeel of the product. Some people might care about the number of fillers (I'm one of those people), others may not. It has a decently high protein percent of calories (83% for the flavor I was checking out). Anything over 85% protein percent of calories is excellent, so this is almost there. The packaging is a bit misleading in a couple of ways though. First, the name of the product is "Animal Isolate Loaded Whey", making you think it's an isolate protein, but actually it's a blend of isolate and concentrate. Also, the ingredient label says that 1 scoop is 25g of protein, which is 50% of your recommended daily protein intake. That's just 100% false. A newbie might think that if they take 2 scoops of protein powder that they have all of their protein requirements for the day. Cost is above average, but I only looked at Amazon, so maybe you can get it cheaper elsewhere. Again, I haven't tried it, but sounds mid tier to me. How's the taste? Does it take like the regular ON whey?
