I've tested 20 nutrition apps in the past two years, and MacroFactor is my favorite. It can feel overwhelming at first, but I'll share tips on how to use it and highlight key features to improve your nutrition tracking.

    If you're using a "Coached" or "Manual" program, you will need to create a new macro program. If you're on a "Collaborative" program, you can edit the macro distribution on the fly by tapping the “Edit Program” button on the Strategy tab.

    Has this now jumped to #1 for you most recently? About a year or so ago, your #1 choice was Noom. I really only want to lose 10-15 lbs. Which should I choose? I do home weight training and eat ok but could make healthier overall choices. Sedentary desk job so have to walk outside during breaks at work to maintain an active day.

    I really see Macrofactor and Noom as two seperate products for two very different type of people. You can lose weight with both apps, but I prefer using Macrofactor. Noom is the better option for beginners who haven’t been successful in losing weight in the past. It educates users on healthy and sustainable nutrition choices and emphasizes the importance of behavioral change and mindset. There's a lot of good education that comes with this app in the form of course modules. Macrofactor is best for those who want to prioritize calorie and macronutrient tracking. It serves as a built-in diet coach, updating the targets you should hit each week based on your progress. But importantly, it doesn't punish you for not missing your targets (like other apps), it simply adjusts based on where you're at. I would try Macrofactor for 1-month. Track your food and follow it's recommendations as best you can. Make sure to go through the check-in process each week with the app so that your weekly targets adjust. If you do this for a month, you'll 100% see progress. If you feel like it's sustainable, keep going to month 2. After 90 days you should reach your goal of 10-15lbs weight loss.

    I connected my galaxy watch6 classic but I don't see anywhere where my workout is being logged or recorded? Am I missing something? (I used your code to get 2 weeks, thank you!)

    You can't log your workout on Macrofactor. That's not part of the functionality.

    Great video! Does it have the option to manually enter a food by putting in fat, carbs and protein and then have the calories calculated based on those macros? Since the calories shown on the label aren't always accurate, especially if they base them off net carbs.

    If I tell the app, how much i weigh And whether I want to lose or gain bodyweight. Does it gonna tell me or recommend me the actual meals I should consider having what I mean is whether this app app provide actual meal plan for my goals

    It will tell you exactly what you should eat in terms of number of calories, protein, carbs, and fat. As you log your meals (which is very easy to do), you will see the numbers on your dashboard automatically count toward your targets. Does that make sense?

    @@kulwindersingh-mz9nj You can create your own recipes, import recipes that you find elsewhere by using the AI describe feature, and you can share recipes between other Macrofactor users.
