Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum

Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum

Welcome to Michael Rosenbaum’s podcast, Inside of You!

Listen as I invite people more famous than me to open about their flaws, insecurities, and all the things that make us human.

What started as me having some fun, quickly evolved into something I’ve fallen in love with. What I’ve discovered is that these celebrities I interview aren’t that different from you and me. They have the same insecurities and problems that we all deal with every day. In a dark, yet enlightening way…I find a lot of comfort in that. I invite you all to join me while I get inside each of these fascinating people.

New episodes drop every Tuesday so make sure you subscribe to be the first to watch.

What a grade A interview. You are the Charlie Rose of Fantasy Films. But without the other stuff. You make people feel at ease, which makes them open up.

Felicia said it best. Just let people live their own lives and if you don’t know what you are talking about, then shut up about it. The problem is that she refuses to follow her own advice. It’s obvious that she doesn’t know about what other people actually stand for or champion so STFU. Bye Felicia. Perhaps when you are knowledgeable again I’ll bother watching anything with you in it.

Godzilla Minus One is unbelievably boring. Characters you don't care about, just droning on and on about stuff you don't care about. And the monster's in the film for about 20 mins total.

As someone who had a motorcycle accident in 2020 and became paralyzed, his talk of being in the now resonated with me a lot. Think I might go after his bleeding heart and try to get him to hang out with me for a day 🤣🤣🤣

I remember opening weekend seeing Starship Troopers when I was a sophomore in high school. Pretty much my entire school saw it. And the following Monday EVERYONE was talking about it and raving about it. One of the best movies I’ve ever seen! I didn’t know a single person (high schoolers, granted) who didn’t flat out love it. What a time. I love Casper.

Kevin Smith lost me when he "Supported the strike" by going off and creating content on strike waivers. All he offered was nice words from an Air Conditioned room.

Stop taking sponsors from Better Help. They have been caught and fined by the government for taking clients confidential information and selling it to advertisers. Also, most of their therapists are not licensed. Go to a real therapist or a life coach.

I'm one of the people who saw Starship Troopers in theaters, when it came out, when I was 14. Loved it. Understood the satire, the second the School Teacher was encouraging her student to step on bugs. First gory movie that didn't scare me! And Immediately I went home and made a few Starcraft maps.

Rotten Tomatoes is a bunch of snobs. IMDB is the general public (mostly morons). When I consider watching a movie, I look at both ratings and figure it's in the exact middle. A corney action popcorn movie will have a 7 on IMDB and 5 on RT. So it's a 6. A dark, slow-burn drama will have a 5 on IMDB and an 9 on RT. So it's a 7. Simple. lol

Kevin Smith is such a cool guy! I had the chance to be on stage with him during his podcast Fatman on Batman, in Detroit and talk about my experience on Batman v Superman. The next year, he gave me free tickets to his show, which was awesome. I even gave him an ounce of weed as a thank you - and he doesn’t take that from just anyone! 😂 Funny enough, I don’t even smoke, but I was managing a dispensary that won the Cannabis Cup three years in a row. He gave me his info I supposed to audition for one of his movies lol still waiting for the reply. 😂😂 ps Jason Mewes is one cool motherfu*ker!!!

I am just enjoying watching this incredible interview. I have been a fan of Casper’s for over 30 years! So happy to see him happy, sober and still as excited about his craft as when he first appeared in the screen. And his story of the wounded hero brought tears to my eyes. I’m a proud daughter of a Marine. ❤ And, oh Ernest Borgnine!!!! What a lovely experience to share 😊

He's so cool. Only thing I disagree with him on is what cinema will become. I think iger is right, I've been saying this since before he has, the studios oversaturated the market post pandemic. We were all locked inside and consuming 100 shows and movies within 2 weeks and the executive big wigs thought "this is great!" So chapek and zaslov and all of them started pumping out at least one blockbuster film a month with 5 new major streaming shows every quarter and the quality started to tank and people began to lose interest. Art started to be seen as content which was more of a product. Like remember how marvel films were a twice-a-year event and we got star wars maybe once every 2 years if we were good? In 2023 we litterally had a major film every week! Barbenheimer was rare because it was well advertised. Use to be studios would move release dates so their big film wouldn't compete with another studios big film. We had 2 major releases from 2 studios last week which caused them both to bomb. Iger's right to go back to one animated feature a year, 2 marvel films, and maybe a handful of series throughout the year.

Agreed, I'll still check a director out in his low periods if he's made something i've loved- I can't wait to see Coppola's new film- Kevin's made several. Mall Rats got me into Smith as a teenager I saw it late night on TV and I was constantly asking people if they'd seen it and who the director was, it wasn't until a couple of years later I got to find out and watch everything he'd done up until that point.
