It's so great to see that a man who played a nice guy character that I enjoyed for years seems to be a genuinely nice guy. Great he made it out the other side--in multiple ways.

David did such a great job in Oppenheimer and I didn't even recognize him. Love his work in Santa Claus, 10 Things I Hate About You and his scene with Jay Baruchel in This is the End is hilarious lol

His character in ER was one of the best guest spots and he did some very heart breaking things in that show.

This episode is so powerful. David’s openness about his mental health journey is going to help so many people. I am glad that he is doing better both physically and mentally. David definitely has an interesting career. Numbers is such a great show. I enjoyed all of his behind the scenes stories. His Dinenro story was interesting. We definitely need a part 2. This podcast is the highlight of my Tuesday. Best podcast ever!

Just saw Oppenheimer for the first time tonight which makes this interview kind of timely for me. Christopher Nolan much like Quentin Tarantino has a fantastic ability to cast underappreciated actors in certain roles. David Krumholtz was a welcome surprise in the movie as was Josh Hartnett, Matthew Modine, James Remar and Tom Conti as Einstein. Never knew much about David's backstory but I'm so glad he's made his Hollywood comeback.

David played Isidor Rabi beautifully. He delivered one of the best lines in the movie imo. "We are Scientists. They need us for who we are. So be yourself. -Only better :)"

We met David at a Con this year and during his Q&A he told the De Niro story. When he said the punchline, "I'm gonna take the stairs." The room exploded with laughter. One of the funniest things I've seen.

David was incredible in Oppenheimer as Isidor Rabi, every time he was on-screen it felt like a big, warm hug.

Loved the gnarly dog metaphor from David regarding anxiety. Thank you, David, for being so open and covering so much ground in one interview!

He was one of the actors who stood out in Oppenheimer for me what a great performance. First time I saw David was over 20 years ago (10 things I hate about you) always thought he’d become a big actor. Can’t believe no one casted him on the big screen for so long. Just shows you keep doing what you love and one day it’ll blossom. Hope to see him in more movies!

I've always liked David, from the Santa Claus films to Numb3rs. To this day I still wish we got another season of 20 of Numb3rs.

I like David a lot. He has a great blend of personality traits that I really like. He's pure, genuine, humble, has self esteem mixed with vulnerability but is honest about his good and bad traits. Even though this is the first time I have ever heard of David I could definitely be good friends with him. I wish him the best in the future and I hope his cancer doesn't return.

When Michael and Ryan talked about showering together I was like “Onlyfans when?” 😂

Was blowing through Numb3rs for about the fourth time and then I see David in Oppenheimer. Watched David's KZread channel after he disappeared for awhile and so sad that he had to struggle so much with health. So happy now to see him finally get a role he deserved and get the accolades for the incredible job he did. Live long and prosper David. Loved you then....love you now.

Never saw “Numbers” (Maybe I’ll check that out!) Loved him in “The Santa Clause” and “ Ten Things I Hate About You”! I’m so glad he came out on the other side of his dark time!!❤

It’s a fun binge watch if you enjoy serial buddy cop sort of dramas. One brother works for the FbI and the other is a genius math professor. He winds up lending his expertise to solve cases but since they are such polar ends of the spectrum they conflict. Their father plays a nice middle ground guy. It’s fun if you enjoy that sort of content.

Another great guest! Loved Dave in Numb3rs, Addam's Family Values, the Santa Claus and all the others! Great podcast, guys.

It is interesting that he played a Mental Patient who killed a Female Doctor (Lucky Knight) and injured Dr. Carter in ER.

Without question this is your greatest episode. What a man David is. He will always be Bernard, head elf to me but his work in Oppenheimer was outstanding. Once again, world class episode.

Ryan's building manager sounds like my mother 😂. I love David on 10 things but, hell did he traumatized me on that ER episode.

Lol best rated ER episodes EVER of the series it was so intensely memorable though. Yeah i adored him in The Santa Clause and then watched the ER arc and those two things left such an impression on me in such different ways lol.

Since David mentioned Klaus Kinski as one of his favourite actors, he can be glad he likely never met him in person. He is known to have had a VERY difficult personality.

Loved David Krumholtz in the Harold and Kumar movies and Sausage Party as the voice of Lavash.

Love this week’s episode what a great guy Love David Krumholtz♥️ He has worked with so many amazing people, loved him in The Santa Claus as Bernard. Great choice this week we need more people like David so down to earth. David's openness is going to help so many people with their mental health journey. I am glad that he is better and caught the cancer in its early stages. I was lucky just like David back in 2013 I was diagnosed with throat cancer and caught it and it’s early stages. I had to have surgery and treatment it was awful but worth it. Not everyone is so lucky I lost my mother to colon cancer in 2010 and lost my older sister to lung and brain cancer lasted February a day before my 40 year old daughter had her first baby. I really enjoy listening to you David and Michael. Another awesome episode ♥️

I am so glad he is back in the Santa Clause even though its a series

I really only know David from "The Santa Clause", where I enjoyed his character. Hearing him talk about his life and journey to where he is now was eye opening. I loved his honesty and it really made this episode real (as all are, but I think you know what I mean). His vulnerability and putting himself out there was inspiring and I know I took something from his episode. You do a good job bringing your guests out of their shell, Michael. Another fantastic episode and a thank you to David for sharing all that he did.

Ryan's predicament with his building manager should make him thank his stars that he doesn't live in Switzerland. It's illegal to flush a toilet there after 10 pm.

He's a gem of a man, I hope we see more of him in film and TV.

This is one of the best interviews I have seen in a while! Great insights and the conversation flows so naturally. I always wanted to know what it is that Chris Nolan says to actors in order to get those amazing performances out of them. When he asked him to do the audition scene, imagining he was on his way home and thinking "That's how I should have done it" - that is so simple, yet amazing, I can feel a huge shift in awareness just hearing that. I am going to steal that, it can actually be liberating to think of in many other scenarios. And it is encouraging to hear that breakdowns or regressions pretty much happen to everyone and that the person will bounce back and have grown in ways that probably wouldn't have been possible without going through the deep valley beforehand. Lucky he didn't have to do it alone, like so many people.

I loved him since I saw him in “The Santa Clause” all those years ago (now my daughter loves him in the reboot series). This past Monday I was watching the old “Addams Family Values” for the first time and who do I see? It was him! So young but that voice is so recognizable. I got all excited and told my husband “honey look!!” and shared where I’ve seen him. A few days later I realize it’s time to check out this week’s IOU Podcast and who is the guest? David Krumholtz! And what a nice, genuine, honest dude. Some day of course I’ll watch Oppenheimer, especially now I know he’s in it. Anyway that’s my long story. Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving!

Watching Numb3rs on Discovery nightly on weekdays. It’s one of the rare show that depicts father/son and brothers’ relationship/love. You don’t get show like this anymore.

NUMBERS is the best show on tv. 6 perfect seasons. I've rewatched it about 40 times since 2019. I love the show. Currently in a rewatch of it.

Had a bout of insomia - listened to this. Always calms me down. I'm a huge Num3rs fan and did a re-watch instantly. I still remember many of Charlie's explanations of the complex math. Great actor for the role and surprised by his process of just cramming. It did work though - he delivered the lines with the authority of an academic who knows his field inside and out

I love this guy. He is radically honest. And it is refreshing and helpful and real.

Its honestly relieving to know that someone as talented and as successful as David can have mental issues and be open enough to talk about them. Hearing it helps. Idk. Thanks David if you ever see this.

Numb3rs was one of my favorite shows

I love numb3rs sooo much I've rewatched it probably 10 times all the way thru each time... I was so sad when it was cancelled after season 5 I would love to see a reunion or a reboot. I doubt it will happen now hearing him say it was a monotamous job.... I only ever gave numbers a chance because it had David in it. I knew him from being cereal king in life with Mikey but I really watch it because it had Bernard from the Santa Claus and I loved seeing David come back as Bernard to close that story line in The Santa Claus series last year it was my favorite episode gave me goosebumps!!
