"Maybe gone too far overboard with the amount of content..." How has Disney fucked up this badly and still learned nothing? It's not just the *quantity* of failures that have killed Star Wars. The quality is so bad they could make one movie or a thousand, and it wouldn't matter.

If you have produced more crap than good- you're no longer ruining the franchise.

My theory is that "review bombing", like many other leftist concepts, comes from self projection because these people are all raving narcissists. In other words, they believe RB is a thing because it is something they themselves do but pretend like no one already knows.

Disney has killed the future of star wars. Hamill has killed its past. RIP SW, you had a great start that was tragically squandered by philistines.

I swear these people are their own worst enemy and the biggest source of comedy nowadays. "There are more of us. Wait no, nevermind that, there's no black woman in the video." It doesn't matter what race or gender you are indeed. Lmfao.

For context, it's like Disney buying Guns n roses, and all their back catalogue. Then putting our new guns n roses songs which are all disco pop. The new disco pop fans will be happy, but I asure you the original masses would not be. So then why buy guns n roses?

How to avoid review bombing: make a good product. It's that easy, well maybe not to people who keep making this crap but you get the point.

Stop trying to pass off activism as entertainment --problem solved !!! It's just not by coincidence that Star Wars is seeing a decline in viewership, look at the numbers and time frames. It started with the implementation of "the agenda". Remember boys and girls--this franchise had a built in global audience eager to devour anything Star Wars at one time.....

You Fool! By giving this writer even somewhat positive attention, you have ended her. Her fellow “journalists” will shun and hate her. Because remember if a “bad person” likes something you say, then what you say, and by extension you, must also be “bad”.

Even encouraging words from journalists and show runners (even if they consider kindness as a viable approach) will not improve ‘The Acolyte’ or placate disappointed SW fans. SW was a delicate vase and Lucasfilm has dropped it. Disney’s reputation is in the toilet waiting for the flush.

I always say, review bombing is never the issue. Even when it's actually happening, it's irrelevant if the general audience actually watches and likes the product. Disney claimed 20 mil people watched asoka. What are a couple of towsands of reviews gonna do in a situation like that? Nothing. Unless the company is lying. That's the real problem: being exposed...

Too bad she didn’t find my last video. But alas I’m a tiny channel. I’m someone who has loved SW my whole life. I’m the female fan they pretend didn’t exist already. I’m pretty thorough in my displeasure and how attacking male fans before the show even started brought out my anger. Thank you for covering this show so we don’t have to watch it.

I have been checked out of star wars for a while now. The only star wars merch i buy are figures on clearance at Ollies with the express purpose of kitbashing and making custom figures. I turned a Admiral Holdo body into the basis for a Willie Scott. I turned a grand Moff Tarkin body into a Col. Dovchenko from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Hasbro wouldnt make a Lao Che or Mola Ram. So if they dont want to sell me those figures? Ill make them. I have a star wars skywalker saga blu ray set. Its the only star wars I need. I havent felt the need to buy them again in 4k.

I am shocked to discover that anyone remembers Billy Idol ever existed. I only remember him as he looks like Floyd Malloy. Otherwise he's way down at the bottom of the Memory Hole having a nice drink with Nana Cherry. I certainly wouldn't be able to name a single Billy Idol Song that is for sure. I expect everyone under 30 would be like "who ?" But then people under 20 don't even know who Elvis Presley is either.

Why isn't anyone talking about the "review buffing" that the critics are engaged in? Does anyone really believe this show deserves an 83% on RT? The critics are judging quality *for a living* and they've decided to trade their credibility for virtue signaling.

i thought that article was pretty good since they didn't attack fans. But i think they didn't realize just how many bad products Disney Star Wars has produced. Its not just Acolyte but a string of terrible shows. And even Andor isn't universally liked, since some find it boring.

Ya know what I love about Disney's version of DEI is how my demographic has been completely ignored. I'm mentally disabled. To be honest, I'm actually glad for this, given the terrible writers currently in Hollywood. I only point this out to show that Disney's DEI is complete bullshit. Funny thing is Star Trek: The Next Generation did more to show inclusion of mental health conditions than all the shows produced under the woke banner.

These people act as if they purchased a famous and profitable steak house chain, show up wearing "Beef is Murder" t-shirts, change the menu to vegan, and now are complaining that all customers are gone and leaving 1/2 stars on Yelp! Are they that dense? This borders Black Hole density levels!

Besides the tragical conclusions, excellent exposition. I would say the attention calling is more on Disney, because we already know KKis a lost cause. Maybe Disney is a lost cause too, as the audience once cried for the head of KK, but Disney just held to her. I actually thought that time was it for KK, I wonder what the hell is her deal there. If the drop in audience is as dramatic, then things might still change. One morning we'll see a "chopped head" on the news and go..."Wouh! About time Disney!!!"
