The apostles never prayed to marry guys and the Catholic church was invented in 300s AD
Witches and Satanists believe the Eucharist is the real body and blood of Christ, but Protestants don't. How ironic. 😅😂
This is a Church pastor talking?
JD, You are blindly showing allegiance to Jorge Bergoglio. Archbishop Vigano was pointing out the errors comitted by the HolySee. The outrage by Vatican in excommunicating Archbishop Vigano, shows the nervousness of the Vatican .
If you think Jesus preached absolute tolerance, just read Matthew 21:12-13 12 "Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’[a] but you are making it a den of robbers.’Matthew 21:12-13
'The Bible ALSO doesn't mention [topic], so we must revert to an iron or bronze-age multinational expansive empire if we want to live as TRUE Christians should live.' We have reason FOR a reason.
Yes, as a Protestant, I can answer. Contextually, JESUS in flesh was a Jew and so we're his disciples. Consumption of blood and raw flesh, let alone human flesh was not something that the disciples would have taken to or advocated by JESUS. If the disciples had the actual inclination that JESUS meant for his disciples by consume human flesh and blood, they would have made mention of it and even protested it. Instead they used commonsense and clearly understood the metaphor. Thank you for asking. 👍🤗✝️♥️🙏
Wait, why didn’t Jesus offer his body and blood right then and there? If it’s literal he should have been lining people up. Instead ”Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.“ Jesus literally says whom ever believes in me He also says he’s bread of life does that mean Jesus turns into bread too? Bread to flesh and also flesh to bread
Well Jesus also says the flesh counts for nothing the flesh is no help at all. Guess I just take that literally.
Very Helpful. Thank you
I grew up in a Protestant home. I've always thought and been taught that the Eucharist was the real body and blood of Christ. Even those who don't believe it is, is it not the Holy Spirit that moves them to partake? If someone believes in Jesus, they believe everything He said to be true. Even if they don't completely grasp everything. There's no deception there. Jesus said to partake, and people follow. Even if they don't know why.
We see through history that the doctrines of men & demons added up from time and time again in the institution of Catholicism. Now we see a living proof. Bishop Vigano has spoken part of it. There are much more doctrines of men/demons added up which you don't know as you are blinded by Catholicism doctrines called catechism.
This only serves to split up people of christian faith. Focus on Muslims and atheists
As a Lutheran (the first Protestant denomination) we believe it isn’t symbolic. Id rather you stop lumping us in that conversation.
Satan's minions are active again.
So who actually ate Jesus and drank his blood?
We are all expected not to be cafeteria Catholics and accept the teachings of the church, but a Bishop can do whatever he wants motivated by his pride. I don't agree with everything Pope Francis does, but when the next Pope is conservative everyone on the "other side" will say he is not a true Pope. The only thing Vigano is doing is dividing Gods church and defining what it is to be a true heretic.
Tell me you don't understand what a metaphor is without telling me you don't understand what a metaphor is. More importantly, this is not a central tenant of Christianity. This is a tertiary issue, quibbling over how to translate and interpret a passage. Do you believe Christ died for you? Do you believe His grace is sufficient? Do you believe God created the earth, came to earth as Jesus, left us His Holy Spirit, and will come again? These are the central questions of the faith?
@@jcrocks6698 The Eucharist is the highest form of worship. Thatbis what Jesus wants.
If you mean the “followers” that abandoned Jesus because of his statement of the body and the wine. Yes plenty of people who were never true believers abandon the faith for much less.
But why exactly when he said eat my body and drink my blood ?
As a protestant I have to say that our branch of Christianity did not sprout from a disagreement over the Eucharist. My ancestors left the Catholic Church centuries ago. And at the time, very good reasons.
Which sect?
Hello, Protestant here….What is this question? Who said the disciples “would” abandon Jesus? Which Christian is abandoning Jesus?
Correcto 💯.
These protestants Agendas to malign Catholicism. You mind your own business and let's Catholics mind our own. Ok.
Wait, as a catholic are you actually trying to argue that this statement was somehow cannibalistic? Jesus spoke metaphorically on one hand but absolutely literally on the other. And by literally, I am not saying we actually drink flesh and blood in the eucharist. That Jesus gives us life by His flesh and blood, directly means that Jesus is the very life force that sustains us and gives us life.
@@tlav1875 Brother, this is literal. It's not cannibalism my goodness. Look at the Eucharistic Miracles. The eucharist is a heart tissue. Check it out.
If I understand your question, you are speaking of those who abandoned Him at His arrest. If that is the case it is a simple case of human fear. They ran because they were faced with death. The Holy Spirit had not been given that endued them with power.. Its as simple as that. If that was not your question then please clarify. In any case we see that most of the affirmation of the "real presence came more close to or after the fourth century when Roman Catholicism was born and was put into law in the 12th century at the Fourth Lateran Council. That itself raises questions. Prior to that both Clement of Alexandria and Tertullian referred to the Eucharist as "symbols' These two having been closer to the apostolic age and revered theologians of the Church.
She could of pulled up a few videos on KZread to answer all of her fake beliefs. So sad that she believes all of this nonsense, 😢🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Stop fighting about details and unite in the name of Jesus. Amen
THIS
The details matter. The question of the Bread of Life being symbolic or literal is extremely important.
I strongly recommend reading the Bible BUT ask the LORD to reveal Himself to you because you unfortunately do not know what you are saying. He will guide you.
How hilarious these videos are, each claiming their delusion is better than other delusions! Casey is a clown, makes unsupported claims spouts nonsense. With thousands of different sects and denominations Christianity is a joke.
Please read in the scripture 1 Corinthians 11:26 " For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you PROCLAIM the Lord’s death until he comes." . It is done in remembrance of what He did and we do it as a church in thankfulness of what He did, the one sacrifice that "once for all" ( Hebrews 10:10-18 esp. vs 14 and 18) cleansed us from our sins. That is Sola Scriptura. Dear Catholics so much of what the early (Catholic ) fathers believed have been corrupted in the medieval church. Turn back to the word of God. Dont try to make the word of God agree with your doctrine but derive your doctrine froom the word of God
It wasn’t about that, it was about He telling them that it’s a suffering way to follow Yehoshua HaMashiach. But if you suffer with Him, you shall reign with Him. Follow Acts 2:38
I am glad more people are seeing the error of the real presence of Christ in the wafer and wine. Christ is presence spiritually among us as we commune with Him. Its not a literal presence. This has given rise to superstitious stories like the wafer bleeding when skeptics nailed the wafer to the wall. Catholics, you don't have to believe in a real physical presence in the elements. Knowing that He resides in your hearts and that his word is true and as she said also that Jesus died for your sins is sufficient.
Question from a Messianic believer, have you asked Messianic Jews what they think?
Excellent summary of an exquisite dialogue between two lovers of Truth.
Great point.
His disciples did not abandon Him. Its the catholic church, and the 300 who thought it was literal. They left because they did not understand it was symbolic. I dont understand peoples narrow carnal thinking. It was clearly symbolic and should be done in remembrance of Him.
Every talking head in this video is wrong
Protestant here, many of us do teach the real presence
They didn’t abandon him over the Eucharist. They abandoned him at Gethsemane. Has nothing to do with Eucharist. And they were all Jewish, as is Christianity.
😅 Actually the 70* is not accurate. Newer polls reveal that most Catholics do believe.
They stayed because it was symbolic. Those who left were horrified, they understood it as actual which they couldn't accept. Moreover He was right in front of them holding the bread at the last supper.
It says right after that, that His words are *spirit*. In the law it was forbidden to eat blood, you really think that Jesus literally meant we have to drink His actual blood???
