All truths are God's truth and that is summed up in Jesus Christ alone. Salvation is in Jesus alone, BUT isn't necessary.

Jesus said. I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me. But He says turn to me and be saved all you ends of the earth. One way "Jesus Christ" But all are invited to believe in His Truth

To use your analogy, Jesus has told us that He IS “the lighthouse” (Acts 4:12: "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved."). He is telling us that there are no other smaller lights along the shore - smaller lights from homes, street lamps, and boats; and that to get to safe harbour, we had better follow the light from the lighthouse (“for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved”).

Catholicism is impervious to both rigidity and relativism which is why it remains Top G.
