Hey Reza Thank you for your videos. I learned a lot from you!
hi Reza, you da best. I use your same logic but my CSV only exports 9k and the info from the table is 25k, Do you have any idea why this is happening? I really appreciate any help you can provide.
Limit is on the size of the file exported not specifically on number of rows. You probably have a lot more columns.
I have delegation warning when placing dates in collector How can I remove that message?
I did not experience any warnings hence not sure. I will recommend posting your query on forums at powerusers.microsoft.com/
Hello Reza, thank you for publishing this video. I have been waiting for this video for a long time, but I have a problem: I followed all your instructions in the video, but I could not download the file in SharePoint. What is the problem? I ask you to help me solve this problem. Thank you

Hello Reja....How to control sending the adaptive card multiple times...I have only once
I did not understand your question
Adaptive card is sending multiple times

Hello all Does anyone know how to open excels from folder, 1 by 1 and rename them base on C2 cell of each excel file? Thank you

I’m trying to upload a 135 mb file, and getting a 413 “payload too large” error in the app (flow never triggers). How can I account for this?
Power Apps cannot handle large files. Attachment control can accommodate max 20 MB.
Actually, we see it handling up to 70 mb. I’ve come up with a pretty slick workaround though.
@@dmvogan Great
Tried to use this component but I think they made it a premium feature.
This has always been a premium control
Hello Reza, your tutorial are really really interesting!! Thank you so much. One question relating to this flow: is there the possibility to modify the response in case of one task already created in the sharepoint list? I would like to add this form in power BI and in case of some new info to update the current response. I think power form is more easy to use if compared to power app. Thanks
Thanks! Not sure about the possibility of updating responses. I have not explored that scenario.
Hey Reza, is there anyway to show or hide buttons if a user is in a sharepoint group without creating an extra list? I know you went into the sharepoint site and created an extra list and added items and made changes to the permissions on the items. Not sure if anything has been changed with the process in the video since the video has been posted.
You would need to either use that technique or call a flow to use rest api to check.
Awesome! But unfortunately, I had some errors while pursuing the steps with you and I don't know what wrong, for example the patch function doesn't work with me in the 'Edit in grid' button it gives me: Network error when using patch function: the specified column is read-only and can't be modified could please help? @RezaDorrani

Thank you for such a n informative video, everything I wanted is done and it came out correctly. But the only issue I am facing is after I save the record it is collecting multiple duplicate entries in the collection and patching to data source if I enter only 1. Please provide a solution for this?

Hi Reza, I have a problem statement, if you help me it will be my pleasure. I have created a power app. I have a user list in share point. I want to provide power app access when ever add a new user in the list and revoke when user removed from the list.
I do not have a video reference on this scenario and would have to try it out to provide guidance. I will recommend checking or posting your query on forums in case someone has experienced something similar powerusers.microsoft.com
Hi Reza, wondering how to reset a modern drop down control, we don't seem to have the same varReset we could set on the classic?
You would need to reset them using the standard Reset function
@@RezaDorrani Thank you!
Hi Raza, This looks good and can you share how to get only the lookup value out of its metadata as the entire row comes as an output for lookup column.
You would need to use expressions to get value out of json object for lookup. I don’t have a specific video reference for it.
Hi Reza This was very helpful but I guess this techniques does not apply to the current PowerAutomate version unfortunately. It throws an error using this technique. I thought I should let you know. Cheers
As far as I know, 99.99% of the flows that work in old version is supported by new version. You can always swap to the earlier version.
why my customized form is not reflected on my sharepoint list :( i followed everything on your video. when i clicked the publish to sharepoint, i can't see the sharepoint link. i am not sure if that is the reason why it didn't reflect on the list.
It may be related to browser caching. Sometimes it takes a few mins. If after a few mins as well it does not show, then it must be some other issue on your side.
@@RezaDorrani i have full access on SP list and created a customized form in power apps. do i need to have full access for me to be able to publish it to SP?
@@ervincandare9990 No, edit permissions on list are enough.
When creating this app, like when you get to the "create app" step, does Power Apps create this in a solution automatically? (e.g., the new dataverse table along with the app in a prenamed or defined solution?)
If you have solution by default turned on then yes. Check this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/oqRq2aSvqZy9l9Y.htmlsi=N6SxUwaMB5RL7Q6Y
@RezaDorrani how to make power automate flow run regardless of the user? I created a "When a file is created or modified (properties only)" trigger, which runs when I modify the sharepoint file but does not get triggered when another user modifies the file. Flow only runs when I share the same flow with that user.
When a file is created or modified is an automated flow. It will run whenever a file is added as long as you have min read access to it. I have not faced any issues with this so not sure what is the issue in your scenario
WARNING - This method does not fix the problem. The goal is to avoid delegation warnings for a specific reason. This is because delegation warnings mean PowerApps cannot filter a list > 2000 items. In the shown example, 2000 items will be loaded into PowerApps as gallery items, and only then will the "in" operator be checked to calculate the visible property. So the problem remains.
Thanks for the WARNING. Delegation is not just about filtering. It can be sorting or simply loading data in collections as well. Nothing can solve the delegation problem other than using delegable queries. Video simply does not apply any formula on the items property rather shows/hides items. So as you scroll down, it will load the data and hide the items based on the condition.
Hi Reza.. thanks for sharing. How to perform validations / disable other tabs if required fields are not filled in the first tab? Its a pain with tabs, if there is no way to do that!
Check my other videos on tabs and forms.
Hi Reza, After creating the checkboxes, i want to be able to make another field visible when one or two checkboxes are selected. how do I configure the Visible on that field? Tried several ways and it is not working for me. I hope you spare some time to answer this. Thank you.
You can always check the count of items in the collection for checkbox. If countrows(collection) > 1 then do something.
@@RezaDorrani what i meant was a field is dependent depending on the checkboxes I select. Example, if I checked Item A, ItemA1 should be visible.
@@redbug2011 You can check and see if collection includes that item. I dont have a specific video reference on it hence I can only guide. I would recommend checking on forums in case someone has done something similar powerusers.microsoft.com/
Great Tutorial M. Reza. I tried to reproduce the Multi Select Filter using Combo Box on a SharePoint List (starting at 6:04). For me, it only works when all choices are selected or none. Otherwise the filter returns nothing. What did I do wrong? Thanks.

I'm able to upload the files to my SP list. However, when I change the flow to include the JSON Form properties I receive a bad gateway error message from the API. The files are uploaded, but the flow can't reach them to add the properties. Any suggestions on how to adjust this?

Another banger, Reza. This is also a really good tutorial for some key Dataverse topics
Thanks so much!

Hello Reza, how would you utilize this same flow but using "Manually trigger a flow" and uploading the .xlsx file? I'm not sure how to connect "List rows present in a table" to the uploaded file with manual trigger. You did this using .csv file in another video but I'm unavle to use it in this flow.

Hi Reza, I've built a Sharepoint list form using Power Apps. However, When i click on edit(to edit a line item), the details vanish when the form window opens. Please help.
I have not faced this issue so not sure.
Great video Reza, clear and concise way to get started. Curious if you can continue with the canvas app instead of switching to the model driven.
Thanks so much! I have done videos on working with Dataverse table relationships in canvas apps. I will recommend checking them.
I do not see the options enabled to "create with excel" or "start with a blank table". Is that a copilot license issue?
Your environment admin might have disabled the feature
Reza your videos are Awesome! All facts! Thank you
32:28 i created a model driven app to dataverse and run the app. It didn't ask me for a premium license (i was suprised). But when i do this with a canvas app (with the same tables on dataverse) it ask me to start a premium trial. So my mind is not clear about model driven app license.
Both require user to have a premium license.
@@RezaDorrani In the MD app settings it says "Pass assignment: This app can be shared with users without a Per User plan."
@@kadirkkkk Power apps premium plans per user or per app. You need to have either one.
Hi Reza Dorrani, Everyday at work I am so grateful for your videos to be able to learn a lot of Microsoft Power Platform concepts with so much ease. You are the best! Have a great day!
I have not come across this issue hence not sure. Some folks did report it but later mentioned it worked fine on its own.
Hi ! I am currently working on power apps , I am stuck at a place that will be very helpful if you get me out of it , Actually I used Toggle in a gallery where I put a function which returns to make it checked (on toggle) if the condition meets and it collects the data into the collection, where I collected data over OnChecked Property. The issue is when I open the app it is collecting 3x of actual data multiple duplicates occur!! I guess it's because of the timing but won't be able to fix that
I have no clue about this. I will recommend posting your issue on forums at powerusers.microsoft.com/

Its an amazing addition. Its a bit disappointing to see the LookUp field type is not supported. I want to allow user to submit modification (only certain fields) of existing list item through a form. However without lookup filed it would be hard to match the item. @Reza or any one know of any workaround?
I am not aware of any workaround
@@RezaDorrani thanks for your reply. How about if I use Power Automate to read the unique values of the lookup field and create a choice column and use that instead? I think there is an way to dynamically add new choice values. So in theory I can use Power Automate to insert any new choice values when a new item is inserted to list. Do you that would work?
