    I’m so sorry you’ve been going through it. ☹️ Looking for the little things and giving yourself extra grace and love is always important during rough times. Witchcraft, to me, is a wonderful meditative practice. Even if you’re not sitting to do a big ritual or spell, it’s good to sit with yourself and allow the magic in you to come to the light. Magic is a truly wonderful thing that can conjure a soft, warm light in your heart, and you can draw on it whenever you want. I’m sure your deities are looking out for you in little ways too, even if you aren’t honoring them as much as you think you should. 😊

    I understand saying the disclaimer to check with doctor first, but most doctors haven't studied the effects of dietary nutrition on the body. Doctors are trained to dispense medicines. So, my advice is to do your "homework" on the herbs before using medicinally or otherwise. Asking Big Pharma if something natural is good for us goes against their love of $$$. Be safe and Blessed Be to all my sisters and brothers in the craft 🌿

    I'm so proud of you for opening up, being honest and so vulnerable. I always enjoy videos on hearing peoples journeys to the craft. That's SO cool that you have another practicing witch in the family. My Mom's side of the family is a little witchy, my Grandma was into astrology a little bit and aparently she could astral project. About 2 weeks ago I started to clean out my Mom's storage bedroom since she past late last year, I found a box full of old family papers, military cards, photos etc. I found old Llewellyn astrology chart papers my Grandma was mapping out. She had hers and she didn't finish her husbands chart but the interesting part is that she mapped out the bibles astrology.

    @@Thewoodlandwitch Totally! I plan on using some of these items on an ancestor altar. I found a small picture of my Mom when she was 16 (when it was 1976) and I wondered how she was doing then, what was plaguing her if any, what was she into or loving at that time. I found a small Bible that was passed down by someone I am unsure if it was a family member or a friend but there were dried flowers, notes etc. I found two Psalms with the note "protection, safety" I was like "..Ok witch in the family I see you" 😂🤣😂🤣

    I think it's a bit crass to say that you should "ONLY" work with deities that are "Apart of your culture"... Especially with people in America who have no idea what their heritage is half the time. You're basically cutting them off from deity work/worship because they don't know if they should be nordic/celtic/hindu/whatever because none of them know their lineages. But I think you should work with whatever God you want to. Just like you can go through your own social life and be friends with whoever you want without someone else telling you who or what to be friends with I think Gods have the right to do the same. Now OBVIOUSLY on the flip side- don't go around and be a twat and culturally appropriate this pantheon because you can. That's all the bad things it is plus totally rude to the Gods by assuming you can just "waltz in" and claim whatever you want because you 'can'.

  • @Thewoodlandwitch
    @Thewoodlandwitch3 ай бұрын

    No, I absolutely agree with you! I think working with Deities specific to my own heritage and practice was a personal choice. Especially being from America, and having so many different cultures make up my DNA it was important for me to not just cherry pick what I liked from each. This video was filmed a year ago, and I have definitely grown as I’ve discovered new information as well. It is not my intention to step on anyone’s toes, or tell them what they can and can’t do within their own personal craft. Like you said, I do believe it is important to not just waltz in claiming X, Y, and Z. I think there is a level of respect that is needed when embarking on the journey of Deity work and worship.

    Yes ,everyone has different relationship with our Deities and we must not compare how the other one treat the other one and the other one ,we must not also compare our experiences because we have all different experiences to the other one . our relationship with them is private and original .
